Hi, Donna,

It is cold where you are. I do no know how you guys handle it.

I hope you get some warm temperatures. :)

invasive species

The last time we had chilly weather was four years ago.
Lots of small iguanas died. (Some big ones survived.)

It would be o.k. with me if we got a little colder in order to get rid of the pythons in the Everglades and the nasty iguanas that are killing our local animals.

Ugh oh Bizi if only that were true. It will be just as long for us, the unusual polar colds coming down are infrequent, but it seems we have two seasons, winter 9 months September until March, and summer 8 weeks in between is cool weather.

Many summers don't reach 90* or we only reach it a few. Days the summer. This year we had a gripping heat wave similar to this cold one. It was our warmest summer ever, and this could be record breaking cold winter.

Keep warm Donna, dh is working midnight again all week, snuggle with the cst again. I think it's a three cat night. This Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday it will only be single digits for a high. Polar express headed back down.

I'm working very hard to stay warm.

I slipped and slided all the way home last night. After picking Derrick
up at Work.

I also have my soon to be niece. I'm just hoping its nice enough
tomorrow to take her to town. For my Brother-in-law to pick up.

But we will see. There is a travel advisory right now.

Derrick didn't go to work today. It was his decision last night.
Thankfully for me. I wasn't wanting to make the call.

We got between 5 and 6 inches I'd say yesterday.

And then the drifting and blowing.
Two of our main roads are one lane tonight.
And its single or close to digits tonight.

That is cold.
Keep your guys home --- they seem to like to be out and about. :)

Well Dale took my niece back to her father today. Derrick went
with him. They just went to a store in Lafayette to wait on
him. And then they came back home.

Dale says its 40 out. WOw, I was hearing a lot colder.
And schools got cancelled around here in the country area.

Will is here, because his dad has an appointment for a interview.

It's close to the middle of Winter, and it's coming in cold tomorrow. We are suppose to get 4, to 6 inches of snow. That's OK. It's the time of the year for
snow.

The problem is that the temperature is going to be below freezing for several days, and dipping way down at night.

I wonder what the weather is going to do around the end of the month,or the beginning of February. I wonder if it's going to be a one, two, three punch.

When I was a kid in this area, the mid-Atlantic,we had many more severe winters then what I've seen in the resent years.

The North East has had it bad this year. Donna,Di,and Bobby have had the worst that Winter can dish out. You all hang in there. BF:hug::hug::hug:
