robert said he would help....i am going to try to get an appt tomorrow for her urinalysis. she hasn't wet herself in three days. yesterday late afternoon and evening she was meowing unless i petted her. it was strange. she started this morning at 4:30 but then stopped.

thank you. it turns out the vet i am seeing is now only going to work one or two days a week. I h Aave an appt on thursday at three.
so i guess i will get the results on friday
cecilia sounded as if she wouldn't do another round of antibiotics if abby needs it. i don't blame her. it is so stressful.
i called back the vet's office and found out how much they would charge to pill abby. the young woman who answered the phone said she would come over and do it for 15 dollars. I felt relieved big time. If abby needs 24 more pills i couldn't ask robert, it is too much. my head is spinning but at least i have a plan if she needs another round.
I am ambivalent using the other vet in the office who was very nice to me.
he missed diagnosing heart conditions with two of my friends' dogs. this was years ago.
I will keep on giving her the same food because she really likes it and it is high quality over one dollar a can. Now i have been giving her two cans a day.

Hang in there. You are handling this very well, from a practical standpoint. I realize the emotions are out there... can't blame you.

$15 a day? that is what my pet sitter charges for a visit.

I just spoke with cecilia. she said she wouldn't mind having to do another round. I said isn't that asking too much. she said no.. I said honest to God and she said it. what a relief. I was thinking that the girl who charges 15 dollars might have a hard time with abby because she is so difficult. I already called up my annuity to get the form to take money out of it.
Abby hasn't wet herself in four days. I wonder if the infection is gone.
i read on the internet how difficult to get rid of e coli.
I have a gp's appt this morning but am going to walk with cecilia very soon.
