I usually make a miscellaneous pile, so I can defer this thinking. This time, my personal/leisure pile gathered miscellaneous moss, so I'll have to weed some things back out. Some sort of a "miscellaneous" file will remain: the best I've ever been able to do is keep it small. For now, I have tucked things out of immediate sight (under tables and things), so I can enjoy the rarity of having whitespace on the table :D, while I recoup. I still have empty folders piled on my bed too, which I am ignoring. Quote:
Another cabinet that needs sorting/weeding contains a lot of cards, stationery, correspondence, and manuscripts (paper stuff). There's a small chance it might have been "set down" in there and gotten buried. Perhaps in a few days I'll have the energy to go through it. Failing that, I will go to the hospital and see if I can request a copy. They might not have one. I can't remember if it was hand-written or typed. I might have been upset enough about these results to toss the sheet. That's very improbable, but so are all other remaining possibilities. Quote:
====================== It has been a tough week. Mostly mentally. I was a little surprised about how much I got done, especially how much got tossed. But very pleased. :):):) waves |
wow waves you have been busy~!
good for you! bizi |
Thanks, Bizi. Yes. I am braindead now. I have to continue with it, but need a pause, and some sleep. Today I did not even cook. I slept a few hours of the morning, and then a few more in the afternoon.
With only 2 weeks left in August, I also need to get back to the studying, perhaps using that to "break" from sorting my stuff, instead of playing games. I am not sure if that is laziness or tiredness or resistance... or some combination. And to be honest, it was quite frightening, the idea of working and juggling bureaucratic/medical stuff in my spare time with things in such a mess. So this is kind of important to the whole working/life big picure. ... if I want to rationalize it some way. Lol. Anyway, it is a relief that my papers are more organized, whatever happens next. waves |
well I am proud of you for facing these piles/boxes/files etc.

Are you ready to stop soon? This does not have to be all or nothing. (Unless you want to continue the roll you are on of course.) That cabinet does not sound critical and it seems to mostly contain items that are known ---except of course the possibility of the file. Quote:

Kind of a forget about it because I don't want to see it again. Quote:

And when cluttery stuff is gone, we have freed up space for good things to come into our space and our lives.:icecream: You did great. |

I don't expect it to be as hard as the files, because files have a high information density that requires tons of processing per cubic inch, if you know what I mean. ======== progress parenthesis ========Maybe tomorrow or day after, I will tackle the stuffed cupboard. I guess I am on a roll, somewhat. :) I'd do it now, but I'm afraid to make noise. There are clunky things in there. Quote:
