One reporter called him a bull-- which would not be correct at all. Journalists are sloppy so there is no way for us to know.

It's ok to eat animals.

Some journalists may have been confused because the man from the animal sanctuary named the cow after Freddy Mercury (a dude) from Queen.

It's a nice story.

We're such complex creatures… we're created to be omnivores (we have the teeth and digestive tracts to prove it) and eating meat is something very natural to most of us, but we've developed consciences so stories about pardoning the occasional runaway cow play on our sentiments and go viral. But the two things are so separate in most of us… I can see someone reading that story while eating a hamburger. So weird.

i thought that cow was so brave. it moved me so very much. that is why i donated to the sanctuary and hope i don't eat red meat again. I don't know how long that will last.
my terrace is filled with snow. i ate yesterday what i bought for the weekend. guacamole and some breaded chicken. i refuse to get on the scale. I see it on my body. ugh. I will finally try some japanese yams and have some other vegetables.

the japanese yams were so delicious. just plain and microwaved. I ate too many though and i had a lot of grapes..rat bad for my diabetes.
bobby
I just bid on two more pairs of shoes. I have one in red and they are so comfortable-butter leather. I won't go any higher on the bid. this wasn't binging but really and truly adoring the shoes. I think i am through buying shoes unless a really good deal comes up. these will be for the rest of my life. I don't feel high. i took two mg of risperdal last night and am going to do the same tonite. a while back I was on two. they don't seem to affect my memory. i think they did cause me to get diabetes and gain a lot of weight. I am not depressed today. I went for a walk in the blizzard with cecilia and her doggie sofia and had coffee. tomorrow cecilia and i will watch the patriots together.

Cool Smirk

Hi bobby,

Grapes are not too bad for your Diabetes. One Cup/4 ounces has about 65 calories and only 5% carbs. Fruit sugars are far better for you than processed sugars and the benefits of the vitamins C, A and the potassium in the grapes far outweighs the small amount of sugars. I eat fruit every day instead of candy, cookies and chocolate like I used to.

Dave.

thank you. I was really worried after the fact. I don't exactly know how many calories are in japanese yams. they are much smaller than regular yams.
I read more how risperdal causes weight gain. Last night i took two again. I feel a lot calmer. I don't think it is the placebo effect. I don't feel manic now but this morning i bought another pair of shoes i loved. I have spent a lot of money over shoes the past two months. It is weird. all of a sudden i am seeing shoes i just love. I can't seem to stop looking. I found out from one seller than two of the shoes i am bidding on and two of the shoes i had bought came from his 92 year old aunt who died recently, she had foot trouble and found those to be the most comfortable. she must have been rich because the regular price of the shoes were four and five hundred dollars. I will probably wind up winning the two shoes because the brand is no longer popular. I used to have a lot of them years ago when they had sales on them. Even bought a pair in Italy. I guess i am obsessed with the brand and never thought i could afford them again.
I am now debating whether or not to do my own taxes or do they and bring them to a tax accountant and let him check them or just let him do the whole thing. they are simple. last year when i got my social security wrong and the state said they didn't have my taxes, it was so nerve wrecking.
I am still reacting to Myra's death. the seller said the aunt was the sweetest thing and i wrote back about losing my sister at 73 and that she wasn't the sweetest thing. My sister was probably worth a few million dollars and my neighbor cecilia yesterday mentioned Myra leaving me some money and i said she wouldn't leave me a penny. she didn't even try to reach me when she knew she was dying...that is so sad. Alex told me she loved me a great deal.
bobby
ps my terrace is incredible looking. it is an open terrace so it has so much snow on it now in its pristine state. I should take a picture.I think it is about a few feet of snow. Yes i still have my fan running and a screened window wide open.
