She is emailing me once a day even on the weekend.

But I am not checking email much and even when I do, I miss things due to depression.

I saw that for tonight she was recommending that I go down to .25 mgs.

I wrote that I chose not to take any Risperdal tonight because I need a break from the disturbing side effects.

I think this is sound.
lower you over all blood level to decrease your chances of side effects.

I have constant problems with the symptom/side effect that you've been experiencing because of the MS. I consider it a serious side effect, and I don't blame you for not wanting to take the risperdal right now at all.

got lost driving. Then cried a lot

I went to work event at a colleague's home that involved lots of people I did not know.
I gracious to the host and hostess but was otherwise
sad and uncomfortable.
I got there early so I felt o.k. about leaving early.

I immediately got confused and then freaked out about getting lost driving out of the
housing complex in the dark.
I started crying about being lost in the dark streets, but did not feel right about going
back into the house for directions because I did not want anyone to see that I had been
crying in the car.
I kept driving around freaked out, yet trying to calm myself.

I got disoriented even after I got to a safe road -- still kind of lost in other words.
I felt o.k. -ish after I made it safely home.

oh mari...
I am sorry you got lost.
I hate getting lost especially in the dark, how scary.
Glad that you finally found your way home.

I'm so sorry that you got stuck in an uncomfortable social situation, then had the terrible experience of getting lost like that in the dark :hug::hug:

I'm glad that you made it home safe :hug::hug:

I've had a lot of trouble getting lost, even in familiar areas, which can lead to anxiety attacks. I got a Garmin GPS and I can pull over, turn it on, and hit the home icon and it will lead me home, or hit a saved address (I have lots of those) and it will take me there. I've used my phone before but it's not as easy to use and it can increase my anxiety.

I try not to go anywhere at night by myself that I don't know the area.
Because getting lost should be my middle name. I get lost during the
day too. But darkness is the worst.

I would have been crying also I'm sure, I have when on my own.

increased gabapentin

So ANXIOUS last night and again tonight.

I had tried to go back to the Risperdal after skipping it for a while.
Bringing it back for two nights low dose again Sat and Sunday made things almost
unbearable due to to the agitation and anxiety (including chest tightness by Monday evening).

I was lucky to remember that pdoc increased my gabapentin from 200 to 300 to help with sleep.
Of course I ignored that and continued with my 200.

I decided no risperdal tonight.
I was happy to remember that she recommended I go to 300 for sleep issues.
I am so very very grateful I remembered.
I took 2 capsules (100 mgs each) tonight plus about 1/4 to 1/3 of a capsule.
I feel o.k. and hopeful about sleep.:)
