I know it can be hard for people to do things when they are depressed, even if it may help them, and I know that you have a long, difficult track-record with medication side effects, so now I can better understand why you haven't tried the cream on the areas that need treatment yet :hug::hug::hug:

I just realized that I do not know when my next appt is.
I kind of remember that I could not work my phone at the time
I was re-booking for in front of the pdoc secretary -- was feeling rushed
so I put an appt card for my person.

I cannot find that card. 'Will have to call or wait for a reminder from the office.

There are so many meds I can't take for various reasons, I wish I had started a list a long time ago. I am running out of options, and some of them may have had milder side effects, and maybe worth another shot, but I have no idea which ones those may be.

My son did well on prozac, but not so well on wellbutrin as it turned
out. But because I didn't know the right questions to ask my teen
at 13 to 16. I didn't know till much later the kind of problems the
wellbutrin had been causing for him. It was also supposed to help
with getting him to stop smoking, but I honestly think it made him
want or need to smoke more.

I cracked a tooth when I was 20, and the dentist told me I needed one. The tooth is far back in my mouth and not visible, so when I found out how much it would cost, I decided to just get a shot in the jaw, and have the tooth pulled instead. It cost me about $75. Ahhh... to be young again :o

I overslept the root canal appt. Totally upset.:eek:


But when I called the office, they had no record of an appt for me.:eek:

I think taking a practice run to get to the office is a great idea, Mari. You will be stressed enough the day of the root canal. You don't want to have to worry about getting lost, too :hug:

I hate Daylight's Savings Time. When I was working, I used to f- up all the time.

Root canal completed
 

Last night Hubby got frustrated with me because even after
phone calls and internet work, I had not yet figured out
how to get a hold of my proof of
dental insurance for the dentist who
I needed for the root canal.
Hubby was being a complete a s s .


This morning while I was sleeping hubby drove to our regular
dentist and picked up papers that we took to the root canal guy.
I was so happy to wake up and learn that we had the paperwork!


The root canal guy and his assistant-person did a really good job.

I have to take amoxicillin (with food) for two days.
I also have ibruprofen 600 mg.

for work but I am stoned from the 0.5 Klonopin I
took this morning before the dentist and might take
more Klonopin again later.

Hi,

I could not see from where I was sitting but I think that Hubby stood in the
doorway of the little room and watched the guy work on my tooth.


I finished the Amoxicillin they gave me.
Next, I need to leave a note for hubby to go pick of the prescription for Amoxicillin we dropped off yesterday of at the pharmacy.
The dentist's assistant wants nothing to get infected or something.


I've been listening to music all night. . . . .. Am considering going
to bed.

what a thoughtful surprise!

Amoxicillan: Today I took a pill but won't take anymore
 

I called my
(1) regular dentist
(2) the office of the root canal dentist who did the work
(3) and my pharmacy because I do not want to take
the AMOXICILLAN.

I am not comfortable taking it.


(The root canal doctor is out of town until Monday so he is not helpful
at the moment. One of the people in the office said to stay on the amoxicillin until he comes back in town.)


--- I do not care if I am being rational or not.

It's my choice.



My tooth had a what is being called
"inflammation."

It's your choice whether or not you take anymore Amoxicillin or not, whatever your reason is. I hope you don't get an infection, but you did take some of the antibiotic, so that should help :hug:

I went to the Dentist thinking I would need a new cap after the root
canal. But she said I did not need the cap because the root canal was small
and the repair could be done with a filling.:)


So we saved a sht-ton of money and I did not have to be in the chair more
than two minutes.


Tomorrow Hubby and I have to take care of stuff at work but we both
agreed that would we come home as soon as possible.
