Thanks, Nikko.
I don't know if I am BPI or BPII.
When I get depressed, I get anxiety too. And to others, the combination looks like crazy.

Keep taking care of yourself.

Hi, Bizi,
Yes, the day turned out ok.
Lots of rest, a trip for haircut, then went to health food store
and came home and watched a DVD and hung out with hubby.

How is your weekend?

Red face sorry

sounds like i just dumped more junk on you than support. sorry.

later i even got concerned after i called for chocolate since i remember a discussion about not food discussing. and curious and i had been sim-posting/reading/editing (not shown) and our readings got un-sync'd. i suspect that's why you have two chocolate posts ... i posted my wheelbarrow post was before Curious added the big image to the first post, but by the time i edited it to acknowledge that edit, Curious had posted the megachocostore (dang thats some scene, and a lotta chocca! )

sooo... thank goodness you did like the chocolate, and thanks Curious )

yes my hair is longish. it was longer but was recently cut. it used to be much prettier. i'm glad you had yours done in the end, sounds like it will give you a boost and make you feel more grounded. i'm sorry about the aging comments. i guess that was pretty dumb.

sounds like i projected too much or was too highhanded or something i don't know. i am just glad the others are there to be more helpful.

i'm really glad you are feeling better. hang in.

Confused

I am now wondering about all this BP 1 or 2.

Because before I was on meds, I did manic things, I think.

Like moving all the way across country within 3 wks, maybe more impulsive things.

Oh, I don't know. All I know is when I get depressed, it's bad. I too have anxiety issues, but the klonapin helps that.

remember all this I, II business are labels. Not only, doctors attribute them differently. they are based on DSM "symptom specification" but the DSM is only a guide. ppl do not fit neatly in boxes. many of us have mixed states... the classical DSM def of a mixed state is very restrictive, and such occurrences are clearly more rare, but more recently the literature is identifying mixed states which are more depressive or more manic, but with some symptoms of each... not necessarily at a full manic level. anxiety is more associated with depression. however it is a more "activated" manifestation, and high anxiety can look manic.

Default I mean well

Dear Waves,

I'm sorry I was sort of "too up" when I posted to you.
Please don't read anything into it. I like all your posts and like responding.
I completely understood what happened with the chocolate pictures/posts/requests/edit. It was ok. And chocolate is good.

(I bought some organic milk choc malt balls yesterday?)

Food, aging, hair, . . . -- these are topics we live.

It's ok to talk about these things.

After I got those responses about my hair appointment I realized that my experience with hair is different from everybody else's. I was trying to clarify.
I didn't mean to come off in a way that was off-putting.

Keep posting Waves. And if you need to, don't pay attention to what I say. Know that I mean well. Please.

Wow, what a conversation of days I missed.

Thats what happens when you just can't seem to come up for
air.

I hope things continue to get better. I will pass on all chocolate
till after tuesday. For that fact, I'm on a liquid diet tomorrow.

Dear Donna,
I remember that you have your tests this week.
Good luck.
You'll do fine.

Default Hi Mari

Thanks for your comforting reply. i have been feeling very awkward lately and i think the first "chance" i get, it comes through. this is also why i am posting haphazardly. probably this is better actually, because when i get perfectionist about posting it can blocks me totally.

i do know you mean well and i enjoy reading your posts too. i am glad you are here, and i have learned a great deal from you over the years. you have taught me perspective, for instance. At times you have given me great serenity.

i think i also was in a weird place when i posted. i have been kinda weird and also stressed. Immediate, intermediate, and long-term situations, hormones, migraines and back pain, and meds/chemicals on a depressive canvas. it makes for a weird picture.

are you feeling any better/different?
