Finally heard from my crack team.The same people that put me through the mbp8298 study.That left me a wreck...Now after watching me go thru that I guess they want to be on my side again.Just wondering if anyone can help me come up with what I should say.I don't want to sound too bitter.During the study they saw I was having problems but they were on the side of the study.So now I get my Dr back but I just wonder where did he go for 3 year's...

Take a list with you. Write down everything you want to ask, and refuse to leave till you ask them. Put the most important ones first.

Is this MS? Why do you think it is or isnt MS? If not MS, what is it?

What medicine will they reccomend for you. not just the injectable stuff, but also the muscle relaxers, or anit anxiety or other such stuff. Will they be willing to be the ones to give you meds to help control this, or will they count on your regular MD to do that?

I am sure these good folks are going to come up with loads of good suggestions. you came to the right place.

Maybe the doctor felt like a doofus and was afraid to call you. I agree with Dej. Take a list and get all your questions answered. And check back in with us to keep us posted.

My appointment is on tuesday but I am so depressed.The only treatment in the 26yrs I have been going there is a pep talk.Ive been in 3 studies and taken just about all I can take.Makes me wonder when did they give up... I am starting to wonder if I should not put any hope into a pep talk.Just a long trip to tell me what I've lost which is hopeI think it's better if I cancel.What would you people do?

It looks like you might be in a last minute manic - no problem. Go to the appointment. If you remain strong; It can't hurt you. It would seem you may have a reason for hope so take it and fly with it my friend. Do as prior posts have told you and take all. All the info you need is in prior posts.
