Default Which battles to pick?

They say in life you have to learn to pick your battles. Unfortunately it seems like WW III is going off in my body, and I don't even have the allied forces to back me up. And PT is beyond all hope right now, even the therapist couldn't figure out where to start so I'm out $500.00 to get no where but out of the house a few times.

Since the gallbladder surgery, my right shoulder is still giving me major issues, my left foot doesn't want to 'pick up', I can make it if I concentrate on it, but by the end of the day the left leg is just worn out. The muscles are fatigued and have that kind of, ran a mile flat out and now they don't wanna go, feeling. Not really pain, just jumpy shaky tired out muscles. And my right eye seems to have lost its peripheral vision, plus my eyes refuse to focus at any distance greater than my arms length.

In short, BLAh... Now the eyes, well, nothing I can do about that, it's happened before, it clears up when it wants to, just live with it till then. So I've already raised the white flag for that particular battle.

Now the issue is really, the rest of the body. Do I try and AFO for the foot drop and potentially make things worse in the long run with as equally a possibility they'll be better in the long run. Or simply raise the white flag of surrender on that as well? Do I cry to my primary physician, or my neuro?

Do I up the anty and shell out $1000.00+ for OT instead of PT? Or do I simply except defeat on all battle fronts and get used to warming my side of the bed?

Or, as will most likely be the outcome, do I fight the body tooth and nail, and simply refuse to let it tell me what my limits are until I end up broken on the floor someplace?
