Great suggestion, Curious. It would help with carrying all the "stuff" that a mother with 7 would have too.

A walker-type device can't be any more conspicuous (at your age) then a stroller without a baby or a wheelchair.

Another suggestion, as I mentioned previously Julie, is renting a scooter or purchasing a manual wheelchair.

You may find this is FAR from a permanent problem, and that if you gave those other devices a longer try, you might get used to them.
