I cannot imagine getting too many vitamins from salads. (there is no B12 in vegetables BTW... only animal sourced foods.)
B12 is stored in the liver, for some time, up to 5 yrs worth. This is because when humans were hunter gatherers, meat would become scarce, and since B12 is so critical for life, we'd die if no food was available at times. There is really no upper limit of toxicity for B12 set by the FDA or experts. In fact experts recommend higher levels for people with symptoms. Dr. C. Snow in this paper: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/post698522-70.html and also in that video I posted above. http://www.livestrong.com/article/41...limits-safety/ Many people with neurological symptoms never show anemia. This is discussed by the doctors in the video I posted to you. Just because your anemia is better, is no reason to stop the B12. Do some homework of your own, and decide for yourself. MethylB12 the active form, is over the counter and you can do it yourself if you decide to. You only need the doctor for testing. Many doctors have no idea about nutritional supplements and how to use them. Sometimes you need to do some homework yourself. Most of our PN posters here, keep their levels at or above 1000pg/ml. In your posts, you mention vitamins--- but only go into detail about B12. Are there other vitamins at issue here?
