Heart I don`t belong in this thread...but had to say...

What a truly lovely read this has been....a bit like looking in on a reunion party. And I feel awkward for having punctuated the posts,so please forgive me,but I was compelled to say [in response to one of the comments about almost "envying the newcomers"] You folk set the temperature of these forums...and without such people as all of you,I guess there would be none of us "new ones"...leastways we wouldn`t hang around for long.
Guess the temperature you set must be perfect.

Priveleged to read this.

And Jaye...get your oomph back.I for one am truly truly grateful for all your kind, wise and loving words when it was my time in the tunnel.I am sure you are much needed now more than ever.
Thank you...

Default Oh, but everyone belongs...

Steffi, you should have seen a table of us at the hotel where the PAN forum was held, sitting well into one evening, together in a relatively quiet place instead of following the "Let's all go to the coolest place" crowd (though they looked so happy and young). There were a few of us who knew each other from the MGH forum and two or three (?) who were attening a PAN event for the first time--in other words, no clique, no barriers, just agreement on mutual support and lively discussion on politics and science. We all have something to rise above, and somehow we do, because we have to or want to, and because life goes on.

Your kind words must be my bread on the waters. I'll pass them on as quickly as I may.

Jaye

Wow how did I miss this thread until now.....I'm almost afraid to admit this but dona I know who you are and remember you but to acknowledge it must revive lc_lil, lower case because there was already an upper case Lil, whom I like to pretend has become the sane and sensible Paula_W. Anyway tis I, and to hell with sanity today. I'm exhausted and instead will just say hello, come out of the closet, and say that I think I remember you all the way back to chat, which not many of us are quick enough to do anymore for any length of time.

I changed my name after 9.11- not sure why, it just seemed silly to pretend anything in sight of that tragedy.

Anyway there - that wasn't hard and to those getting together in Baltimore, if you are in the mood to rent a movie, remember my suggestion: Everything is Illuniminated. It seems appropriate to mention it here.

Uh, that would be Illuminated

Default wow

steff jayne paula I'm honored just to have you on my thread , I saw this yesterday but to be honest my postings seem to be the kiss of death for a thread so I wanted to wait till today to answer, I'm not being petty honest its just that not that many know me from here so I dont blame them. Janyne you have no idea how much I envy you being at the fourum if only for a short time that alone would be so uplifting just to see how many people are trying so hard and to see old freinds and new faces I just cant imagine.Hubbys meds dont work after about 530 pm so something like that for us is never going to happen. Paula of course I remeber you as lil my God that was so long ago and yes i remember the chats if i recall you were there when we had "ghosts" which was the most horrible thing and one of the best things they ever managed to get rid of I used to feel almost invaded. And steff its the younger pds that are needed the most right now the old ones are leading the way but the younger ones and newer dx'd are hopefully the future that might actdually change somethings in our life tiime at least I'm praying for that , anyway thanks to all of you and I'm still around for a while lol cya soon ps steff you belong to whatever thread you want to belong to

Red face

hey yall
as usual i'm $3 short and more than a few days late, lol i really will get to those letters soon

ahhh but i've missed yall

we've kinda been buried in snow for the last 2 weeks, we only have 6-7 feet of snow here, but 50 miles south they are dealing with 12+ feet. the wind chills of well below zero make it a much easier choice to stay inside and enjoy the heat. i've been busy feeding the wood stove to augment the cost of fuel. acccck

my truck hiding in the over night snow

the kids are doing well, i'm a bit more than slow these days

i still have 4 dogs, the elders are 15 (schoocher) and 16 (weeney)
scoocher enjoys the snow

weeney doesn't because her belly gets cold

the pups are 1 and 6. the 6 year old beastie girl, poco oso, weighs 150 and gets confused at times, thinking she is a lap dog. lol buckshot, the baby, is a 12 pound boston terrier that thinks he is the big dog. but, poco is buckshot's big mamma.

poco loves to play in the snow

me, buckshot (little man) and poco (pouting because she couldn't stay outside to play)

bless his heart, johnny has more miles on the snow blower than his truck.

buckshot loves plowing thru it

love yall

you want your setting to show linear mode. ( to show the whole thread) you can change that in your User CP under edit options.

pm me if you want more help. i don't want to muddle up your thread.
