You guys are great!

At Cornell Weill, the usual recommendation for people with gluten problems is to go with a daily, seperate dose of 2000mcg and up, and many do 5000mcg as long as they don't get too jazzed up (which can happen with those doses) until their malabsorptin issues subside.
That was very interesting. We, the docs and I are thinking my malabsorption issues aren't going away. Some things never repair themselves, especially after years of abuse, even though I didn't know why I was so sick. For now, I have lost a lot of weight finally, and am now fitting into the size I wore 36 yrs ago...who knows, maybe my malabsorption issues will get better. I also have been on a candida diet, which sees to be doing wonders for me.
Now I wonder if I need to be on 5000mcgs?

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
