Good news Brian. I'm happy for you, finally. Talking with people who had a total hip replacement, the first few days are painful. I hope that your doctors give you enough pain killers to float through that period. After that, the pain goes way down, and healing is quick. The folks I talked with said that the new hip worked as good as a new hip, which it is.
Good luck. We'll all be anticipating hearing from you after the surgery.
