Start with just one a day, for now. If you are normal, one a day is not alot. The dosing for treating pyroluria is quite high and should be followed by a doctor familiar with it.
Many people take P5P for neuropathy. It is one of the 3 ingredients in the RX vitamin called Metanx. Metanx was formulated with methylfolate, P5P and methylB12, specifically to treat neuropathies. So it is not unusual at all.
