The most obvious effect is feeling too relaxed....tired and fatigued.

If your kidneys are working normally, then the extra magnesium will be eliminated easily.

If you are taking hypertension medication, it may become too strong a dose, and may need adjustment with magnesium lotion applied too liberally. So patients with hypertension should take their blood pressures at home daily to see if this is happening.
