I do believe that our neuropathy leaves us open to more injuries but I don't have proof of it. It can be an inflammatory process I believe this can be rough on all parts of our body. My neuro told me to becareful of being with others with infections. He said if I catch the infection will be worse for me due to my neuropathy.

You should continue to be honest about how you feel with your doctor. If you ever need to stopping working it needs to be documented for a while before applying for disability.

I hope you begin to feel better soon
