People who drink only bottled water, might want to research that topic online. There is a huge recall going on right now for 14 brands of water.
I didn't know for example, that there is no Federal regulation on bottled water drawn from the same state it is sold in. Also: http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/07/13....water.safety/ http://content.usatoday.com/communit...1#.Vbiasvl53To

It's worth achieving as its proven acid environment in the body creates inflammation. In every way, I'm the perfect patient and I'm sick of my tests being perfect while I get worse by the day. |

Hi Eskiemom
I am sorry to read that you feel that you "get worse by the day". Would you like to share more about what you mean by "I check my acidity every day and hover between 5.0 and 6.0 which is very acidic"? I am puzzled by this - if your blood pH was in the 5.0-6.0 range you would be dead (obviously you are not). If you would like to explain more about how you measure your "acidity" I would be happy to comment. I am not a health professional but am a biomedical scientist - from that background my views might help you. All the best.

I check my urine and salvia with ph strips. In one day, my hands and arms became symptomatic. Since this started two years ago with pain in my outer ankles, it's all over my body. Third night in a row that my erthymelagia (or is it because that is what I have diagnosed) was horrible. I have begun riding my beloved bike again, about 10-15 minutes and wonder if that exercise is causing it. Or the magnesium? It has really been worsening over the past few months....that's why I came here for some ideas. I don't get it. |

Eskimom, maybe it's environmental? Have you tried changing where you sleep? There could be something in your house doing all this. If something bad happens in a certain place we tend to overblow it. Try changing your bedroom around, better yet, if possible change to a different room.

Hi, Waupaca here.... Have you had an Organic Acid Test? It may rule in or out some questions about ph. I have been following a low oxalate diet with amazing improvements. If by chance you have high oxalates, taking certain types of magnesium will exacerbate oxalates. Magnesium is important to take. I take magnesium citrate and only after meals. There is a calcium ratio that is important with magnesium. I take calcium citrate before I eat. D3 is important for the balance as well and exercise to get everything moving where it needs to go. I have swapped out high oxalate foods slowly with medium and then low oxalate ones for less side effects. Might be worth a look, it was for me.
Wanted to mention that too much antibiotics will damage oxalobacter formigenes, good bacteria in gut that degrades oxalates, so a good probiotic is important to replenish. Last edited by February; 07-29-2015 at 09:42 AM. |
