Default Thanks for the replies everyone :)

I did sleep all night but felt groggy all day yesterday.

I can tell from your messages that I absolutely took TOO much ! I should have read up on it more before taking it. All I saw on the shelf was the 5 mg and I just thought, stupidly, that it was the dosage everyone took.

I probably would have felt better if I had thrown the stuff up

That sure was a learning experience !

Debi, If you have a 5mg tablet, cut it up in fours or more and go from there. Consider the sleep remedy I take now for quite a few years. I'm so thankful for my good sleep.

I get hung over from a much reduced amount of Melatonin. I also tried Caroline's recipe and besides not sleeping very well I was hung over the next day. This is a perfect example of how something may work perfect for some and not for others

Could be a lot of factors: age, bodyweight, meds one takes etc etc. Maybe try working with Calms Forte' only. I know when I started with it years ago, I talked to Hylands about it and they said it's their #1 selling product. Probably 15 yrs ago or more I had bought some melatonin and I don't remember if it was 3mg or 1mg but I remember how groggy I was and never took it again for a lot of years until this low dose came to me via Dr. Eric Braverman of LifeExtension.
