It was saying how the use of specific fertilizers in the mass production of food was affecting the nutrient content of the food. It talked about how people with different illnesses got better when they ate food that was grown organically. I don't remember if the book used the work Organic. My grandfather was highly involved in farming many years ago, and I'm pretty sure he contributed in a big way to the problem... he was president of the American Farm Bureau Federation about the time I was born. On the other hand, my polish grandfather who gardened organically... and was a retired grocer, lived about 40 years longer... I think if we had more healthy produce that there would be fewer illnesses. And it's shocking how much pesticide can be identified in the breasts of American women... I just read about that in a book on women's health that I have... I can't quote it, I'm afraid... with my brain damage it just takes too long to refind the page, type it out... so I hope this brief reference is useful, thought provoking. ![]() .
