Rox:

If you have pain in your heel (I did YEARS AGO!!), my doctor gave me a cortisone shot. Now let me tell you, it's not the most pleasant experience, BUT, it did the trick. And I had to do 3 ultrasounds (it goes with the treatment), I believe the ultrasound breaks up the inflammation.

Now I have no idea if this applies to tendons, but they can GIVE YOU SOMETHING (whether it be a shot or oral meds). I'd go for the shot (if this is applicable in your case).

It lasts for some time. I believe it's a cortisone shot.

It really did work. I've had three of them in my heel (over the span of 20 years), They numb the area first, then they shoot you.

Don't worry, you've been through so much already, this is a breeze.
