Hi Anita, man oh man... I am already in a surly mood this morning, and then I read your post about your employer and how they are really stickin' it to you!!! I can not believe how they are treating you. HOLY HANNAH I would be wacked out of my mind angry if I was in your shoes! Anyway, I am thinking about you and sending you positive and good ju-ju that this will go your way. Karen67 ps- I hope my rant has not fired you up...sorry 'bout that.

Hi Karen,

No your rant didn't get me going, I'm already gone. lol
I just decided enough of people taking advantage of me. Everything I knew as life is gone and what is the worst that can happen if I voice my opionion on behalf of all of us who suffer from discrimination, health care officials who look at us like we have lost our mind, and playing the crappy workers comp. game, that puts so much unnessary stress on us that it causes spread and internal sickness.
The worst is no one will listen. Already got terminated, so they can't fire me. lol

As someone who does not have RSD and the spouse of one who does everything bolded above in your comment is the common thread that joins most people with RSD together. I've seen it all first hand. And I believe much of it is criminal. Although my wife has had this condition nearly 10 years, is on SSDI and medicare, to this day and just recently a doctor told my wife after seeing her for 5 minutes, without an examination, without reading her records stated that she does not have RSD because RSD does not spread. When he said that I looked at the wife and said "Time to split". I looked at the doctor straight into his eyes and said she's been diagnosed many years ago, been there done that---RSD spreads, do your homework!!

Go after them alt1268, enough of this BS already!

Just curious Jim, how did you come upon this doc, was he an an SSDI doc? Good for socking it to him. I'll bet you were tempted to contest the charge for the co pay on your credit card.

I paid the copay, after all, he did see her and talk to her. After he made that statement, my response, I left the examination room, she stayed and talked to him and told him in detail the years of tests etc. and that she is not going to repeat all those tests again and told the doc, you have not read my medical records, so goodbye. I was proud of her because she is on the shy side, stood her ground and was very calm with this doctor in which she told me he actually listened to her.

No, he was not an SSDI doctor. My wife's current doctor does not except medicare, we pay out of pocket. So, we are looking for a doctor who does except medicare and it seems many do not, but this doctor did. We are still searching for a new doctor at our own pace and not rushing it.........yet.

Jimking, That is horrible. I don't get it. I am so glad you told the doctor to do his/her homework. I am fairly new at this but sitting down, sucking it up, sorry about your luck, ain't cutting it anymore. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Tell your wife I'm sorry she had to be subjectived to that inappropriate behavior.
Anita
