I have searched this forum and others and still dont have an answer and im a little worried..One the past two days have been extremely painful. head to toe kind only small spots unscathed and my joints and back are the worst o all like white hot rods being shoved in between each bone. 2 yesterday an electric pain rushed from my belly button out to ..the other end. and yesterday and today I have been peeing non stop. full stream, lots of liquid, clear. (so far this is these are things ive never had in my entire life) and it is every couple of minutes. In fact as I type this I feel the need to go run and pee. and I know when I go in there it will be a significant urination. my most recent blood work showed slightly elavated liver count but every thing else was >>in the words of my doctors "perfect" in fact they found it hard to believe because a month ago (my previouse blood work) my cholesterol, was very high sugar was a little high, my liver was good , kindney function a little off, blood pressure almost scary(exactly what my dr,s said) but now blood pressure is not just lower but very good for a 38 year old, and my sugar was well in the safe zone as well as all other. except for vit. "D". now I go for more blood work net week again (being monitored and all) but what I am feeling doesnt seem to fit anything I have seen, and I really hope this isnt RSD doing this though it might be. any and all responses are much appreciated and all will be considered.
... RSD is covered by comp....and I just lost my medical coverage this is why I dont just go to a DR.. ...............Thank you all very much!!!!

The problem with not having additional insurance is that often times you don't know what is related to RSD and WC will hold up approvals as you know.
You're getting SSDI, correct? Adding Part B to your Medicare coverage is something to consider. Call your doc's office and see if you can expedite your blood work. Things like bladder infections can become very common with RSD due to your immune system being depressed... Might be a possibility? |

Just my opinion, but sounds like a kidney infection or something along this line. Kidneys flow to the bladder. A bladder infection, will not give you a strong stream, but a dribble. (constant feeling of needing to go)
As far as your labs, unfortunately I would say either you majorally changed your diet or one of these test was flawed.

LITLOVE... I was denied for medicare 2x so far am applying again and mdcd said I get too much from disability to qualify.. I am trying though. so until then I am comp injury only...(sucks) alt268: I was thinking along those lines about blood work too. I really hope It was right though.. having "more" thing wrong will only confuse the comp matter I think and put me in a further head spin(I'm sure you understand) I was thinking UTI at first but stream was too constant and strong.. I ve had one in the past so it was the first thing I thought of. Do you think kidney failure would produce this affect??? If so would,t the liquid be cloudy? ..Im so lost as to this issue. especially because it,s happening coincided with the extreme pain burst. Thanks again I will take these to my dr. during my call today

Sorry, I lose track of details. You'll receive Medicare after 24 months on SSDI. (You can choose part B, D and/or a supplement at that time.) Medicaid is based on income.

Could you be passing kidney stones? That would explain the abdominal pain and sudden strong release of urine. You definitely need to see a doctor. Are there any community clinics in your area for people without health insurance? If the pain is intense you may want to head to the ED. Only you know how bad you are feeling and can make the choice to go if you need to.
I've read many of your posts and I truly feel for you! You sound like a devoted family man and I am so sorry to hear how much you've suffered. BUT, I am proud of you for having the courage to share your story with us, and to find the strength to keep going. Best wishes to you. You and your family are in my prayers!! |

If you have SSDI, you do get medicare after 2 years. Normally that's the wait time and it kicks in as soon as you get your "fully favorable" letter. My case worker at the social security office was a hugh help in all that had to happen after I was approved. I also got a letter explaining everything better well, I had minor children at the time so it involved them also. If you have minor children you get ss for them also until age 18. Best of luck. I would do a computer search for free clinics in your area. Or call the county health nurses. They would know of free or sliding scales health centers. In my area they have free clinics on certain days- first come first served.
Since your last labwork showed your kidney function was a little off, I worry that your kidneys are losing the ability to concentrate urine. Some of your meds may be metabolized by your kidneys and, if this is the case, your kidneys could be stressed by the medication. I wouldn't mess around with this. Definitely try to find a free clinic or contact your public health nurses. Where do you live? I could try to do a computer search for you. |
