Well this morning I went to my primary doctor..My level high, using my cane today..My bloodpressure high.145 over 100...he said I really need to keep a eye on that..I also spoke about my weight gain..It sucks..Asked me if I am walking any better??Ya right..I wish..Its so hard.I spoke to him about my PM doctor..He was shocked, but said try to look at it as though I was in his shoes waiting on people complaining all day about this pain, that pain, and trying to figure out who is abusing meds. and was is not..Which I guess I can understand he is human too..I just hope his outlook changes. He told me to hang in there until I get this stimulator and see how things go..

High BP is normal when going to the doctor...for anybody. Mine skyrockets only when i'm at the doctor. I take mine at home and it's perfect. The nurse calls it the white-coat Syndrome ( white coats.....what doc's wear). It was a waste of a drip to the doc.
As long as your BP is ok when your NOT at the doc don't worry about it. Heather

When you get home put your feet up. Lay down with your feet higher than your head. Did you go to your Dr right after work? If so that might be why your BP was high. If your PM dr is being a jerk get a new one that listens. I finally found one that listens myself. I will pray you feel better soon. I know how hard this disorder is.

Hi moosey,
My BP was high recently when I was at the docs, and now he's gone all twitchy about it... My BP has always been pretty low, both at docs and at home, so not sure what to make of it really. It's so hard to know what symptoms to take seriously and investigate further, and which to accept as CRPS vagaries and try to manage. I'm rubbish with most meds, and the last thing I want is to experiment with any more right now. I hope you feel a bit better tomorrow moosey. Take care of yourself. Bram.

I'm sorry that you're struggling both with BP and with inadequate pain control. Lack of proper pain control for what we have ticks me off... bad. ![]() My pain has not been managed properly for a while now and I'm regressing and praying that this doc I see on Friday is a step in the right direction to getting regular relief. After reading your post I went here http://www.rsds.org/4/resources/pain...hysician_.html Then from there I went here http://www.medsch.wisc.edu/painpolic...ix.htm#NewYork I thought this was an excellent site! Easy to navigate with their interactive map. When on their site, scroll down and you'll see the US map, the just click on your state. I hope you feel better soon and are able to get the relief you NEED and deserve. ![]()
