Wow, you sure are having a lot to deal with :eek:
I hope they get this straightened out ASAP and that all these stupid "experiments" on trying to revive a bad piece of equipment comes to an end. Have you been having to use any pain meds. while all this has been going on (other than the aspirin you're probably taking to deal with the headache they're giving you over all this)? Can you say "SNAFU".

Hi Fiona......well thankfully I still have some Lidocaine patches and also my other medication...as I kept them all just in case. Well Im scheduled to have it replaced on Tuesday afternoon/evening....so hopefully that will happen and at least Im been put OUT for it as I was awake for the original one. So thats good!......

Have to ask but what is SNAFU:D I bet its rude:D

Roll on Tuesday...what is great is that you'll get Tuesday before we will, what with the time difference:D:D

What time is your surgery so we can be praying for you (can you give it to us in USA Eastern Standard Time??).

Fiona:D well as far as I know my op won't be until evening time here which would be about 5pm GMT. Now how many hours are you behind us. It's 19.02pm now on Sunday evening??

OMG jackiey ! i cannot believe you have to go through this again! will be thinking of you on tuesday and if there is anything i can do please just ask!
I agree with you about how used to our scs we get and how we rely on them, i am about 6.5 weeks after surgery and if anyone told me that my machine was being switched off i think i would die! went out on saturday night with the other mammies from school ( 1st time since she started school) and i got home at 1.30am ! have never been out that late in years and poor hubby was waiting up for me as he was worried! but guess i am just getting a taste of life again and i am loving it!!
