Good evening, all...
Sandy, what's going on? I'm so sorry you have to deal with the stress/worry from a distance. Hope that those docs down by your mom can figure out what's up...
Barb...I hope you can reduce the sxs that are cropping up...you sound so miserable... we're here for ya...
Sox...I have to ask...do those pies make a flatulant sound when you sit on them? What is a whoopie pie?

I'm feeling a bit better today...been off of Crestor since Thurs. night, and my legs finally feel a bit stronger...the elbow isn't hurting anymore. So maybe these sxs are from that.
But the spasms in the legs are trying to creep in again. And my brain is total mush. I'm not sure if I need to call the neuro, since it's nothing major.

What a beautiful day we had here in northern Illinois!! Too bad DD and her DH couldn't have stayed another day...it was kind of carpy weather-wise here this weekend. And I was in an unsociable mood...so it seemed kind of boring for them. I feel bad that I was so unsociable. But when I don't feel well, being around people, even those I love to death, is the last thing I want to do.

Oh, well. Hope all of you have a good Monday evening...and Sandy, my prayers for Mom are going out...

Vonn -- If I were to get in the bath tub, I would not be able to get out without lots of pain. So the paramedics would have to rescue me.

Hey everyone. They ran the EEG and also ran a MRI, We don't have the results yet. We'll make the decision to drive down there by tomorrow depending on how she's doing. The neuro said she may improve because the seizures can cause the confusion and such.

Oh and Jim started feeling slugish too. I've been fighting a sore throat, sinus and ear pain for a few days. I am feeling a little better today but now he started feeling blah. Since we don't know if the sinus stuff is affecting him or the urine stuff the doc put him on Leviquin which will take care of both. He said Jim can travel if he feels up to it but wanted him to get on the antibiotic before we go. He's also not allowed to go to the hospital to see mom. No brainer there huh?

I hear ya, Barb ... 'tubbing' isn't for me either ... but, to meet a paramedic would be interesting in the rescue!!

Lordy.....if a cute paramedic had to save me from the bathtub he'd probably need somebody to save him from the shock of it all! It ain't a pretty sight!!

I've all but given up baths.....but I never really liked them in the first place. I'm more of a shower type person.

Sandy, I really hope and pray that tomorrow brings good news about your Mom. I hope you and Jim both feel better, too. My ear had been bothering me but I think it's because I opened the windows today and there was a cool breeze. The fresh air felt so good, though.

Hi everyone! It's been a busy few days and I haven't had much time to post. I've read through everyone's posts while in lurking mode.

Sandy -

TKTC - Hope your DS starts feeling better. Take care of yourself as well. That must have been scary for you all.

Barb - I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

DebbieD - Glad to hear you are feeling somewhat better.

Kelly - I only take baths when the spasms start acting up or I know I overdid it and know that it will be a night of spasms. The Epsom salt baths help me out quite a bit. Getting in and out can be a challenge but it can be done. Other than that, I am a shower girl. Baths take too long and there is so much to do.

Hi everyone else! Thinking of you all as well.

debd...whoopie pies are two puffy round chocolate cakes(about 4 inches
in diameter) sandwiched together with fluffy white filling. I think
its a Northeastern thing.

Election day, busy day here. have a great day.

Sandy, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Add my prayers to the mix.

Didn't realize I've been away for so long. Took awhile to go through the posts.

Halloween went ok. Much busier than I thought it was going to be. We even ran out of candy. A first for us.

Been sniffly still and trying to get rid of whatever this has been. Been having some essential tremors on and off, which has been a bit on the annoying side. Luckily hasn't been constant, which is what happened the last time I had this issue.

Got a couple of more rejection letters for my art. So have also been a little frustrated with that. But now trying to see what else I can do. I keep reminding myself how subjective abstract art is.

Hey all,

Good morning to you all! Sun is shining, home instead of work yeahhhhhh for vacation time!

going to get a bit of cleaning done, then probably at least get outside once if not more. The older kids are suppose to rake the yard up today after school. always fun, as they will you know complain and fight over how much each did etc... till done! but gotta be done.

I took the two little ones on a walk yesterday, to the school park then to the school library, we got some books and been snuggling and reading! nice to feel the energy to do these things a bit more.

hugss to all and have a great day, sarah

Sandy prayers to your family still coming thru!!
