Got a call from the pcp's nurse last night...lab work came back. My TSH is higher, so they're upping my synthroid...the kidney, liver numbers were good. But the cholesterol was high again so she's switching my meds. This scares me, because I've been watching what I eat...my gene pool sucks!

It's going to be cold and rainy up north...so we 're going to bring our Wii and try it out some more...

Have lots of fatigue here, still happening. I get my infusion tomorrow and hopefully the neuro will have a few minutes to talk with me about this. I need to get some Topamax for headaches that I think are from the Provigil that I can't do without. Topamax makes me dopey but works great on headaches. I need to get into gear and do some paperwork and clear my desk of lots of stuff, need to make a grocery list and send DS out shopping today. I also need to enlist my big strong men to help me clean the house.

I have my windows open here this morning. It's so nice outside. The cats are in feline-heaven.......running back and forth from window to window every time they hear a bird chirp!

Rain is expected tomorrow. I'm sure my legs will let me know when it gets here.

I'm so looking forward to Monday. A bunch of us from my old employer are getting together for supper. One of the girls who moved to Miami is coming back to GA for a visit. I loved working with her and can't wait to see her again. She and her husband both worked for the company. He was killed going home one night (a car crossed the yellow line and hit him head on). We sort of have a bond being that we both lost our husbands unexpectedly. We know what the other is/was going through. Her loss happened four years ago so it's still a little fresh for her. I hope this trip back home is a good one for her.

I'm sitting here going through all my bills for the month. How do they come around again so quickly?? Seems like I just paid them all and here they are again.

Well I have been in more upbeat moods. I went to the bank this morning all excited, ready to relaunch a dream, and Ms. Bank said I need papers I don't have. sigh. So now I am researching, and getting more discouraged by the minute. Mounds of paperwork need filed, and naturally everything has a fee. I was tickled to pieces just to finally scrape together what I did for this morning. Must come up with creative ways to make money that don't involve printing, copying, or stealing. sigh. Oy my head hurts.

Hey everyone! I had to break down and turn the heat on. I just can't get warm. It has been raining/thunderstorms all day here. Not much else is going on. I got my seasonal flu shot this morning. Two hours later the nurse from my neuro's office calls and tells me to wait a week before I get the injection since I have been sick. Too late! My pcp told me last week to go ahead and get it unless I was really sick. I love doctors. Neuro also told me to get the swine flu shot while my pcp told me I may not be able to get one as I was not a high priority.

I am supposed to cut back on my baclofen by 10 mg to see if that helps with the vibrating sensation. In the next breath, the nurse said he doubts if that will help and to call back in a week.

Going out to dinner with a friend; have a good evening!

My furbaby is eating, and walking better, but now his third eyelids keep closing, so he can't see...what's with this dog, anyway?
DD and her DH are driving up tonight...can't wait to see her!

Debbie, I hope your dog is okay. It's so hard to watch them get old.

Barb, I thought about turning on the heat the other morning but managed to just bundle up and wait it out. Later in the day the AC came on so it's just that weird time of year temperature wise.

DS forgot to put the garbage can out by the road this morning when he left so I had to throw on a pair of sweats and put the darn thing out there myself! The Top Turf lawn care truck was out there and (unknown to me) the guy was spraying our backyard with a treatment. As soon as I got to the road he appeared in the front yard and started spraying it! It smells terrible and I was trying to hurry back in the house before I got that smell all over me and my clothes. I'm sure I looked lovely huffing down the driveway doing my little "walk/gallop/skip/limp" thing I do!! Oh well, got my morning workout!

TGIF!!!

It is a beautiful Friday morning. Sun is shining. It is a bit windy and only aobut 60 degrees, but I love Fall. Have one more class to teach and then I am free for the weekend. Plus, I do not have any grading to do this weekend!

I may drive up to Champaign, IL at some point as they are having a 30% off sale for educators at Borders. I also would like to go to Target -- haven't been to one for several months.

Morning all! Went to court with my cousin and they finally let us testify. I was the last one and it was 3pm by then. By that time I was tired and overwhelmed by all the testimonies and the family breaking down. I hope I did OK. I did get the one and only objection from the workman's comp lawyer. lol I said I wouldn't leave my cousin alone with anyone and he objected loudly.

Sheesh, way to turn it around! I meant that she shouldn't be left to care for anyone in her condition. Even the judge rolled his eyes at that one but did strike my statement from the record. hahaha

The sad part was all the crying from the kids. They said their mom was gone and acted like she didn't even want them. So so sad. She was crying, the kids were crying, the husband was crying. So you can imagine my mood by the time I got on the stand trying to hold it together after the long day.

Today is a rest day after I take care of Jim and clean the pond pumps. to everyone in need.

Pam, sarah, holly, becky tricia, vonn, you all have a super weekend.

Me...Had an appt with my doc this a.m. I am going to go to PT for this
hip that is bugging me;. My feet continue to bother me and he has
again given me the RSD diagnosis;. He still thinks there is something
else(like MS or poss. just fibro) neurological going on. But it is very
possible I am dealing with two things.

Also took my 17 year old in and he has a sinus infection...so going to
pick up scripts soon.

This weekend is filled with parties, sports and regular weekend stuff. My
dh is going to NY for my nephews wedding. I am staying home with my
little ones as they would have to miss school Monday;. I think its important
that my youngest school resistant child goes every day. It was much
better today but would nt want to chance a long weekend, ya know.
