Wiz...we used to get by with only one premium box in the family room but
Comcast is switching to some new digital only so if you dont have a box, you
only get channels 1-13. My dd would surely die without disney;.
They give you four digital boxes for free and then each other one is 2 dollars
a month. Well, I guess now I will be able to watch HBO in the bedroom;.

Wiz - Good luck tomorrow! Let us know how things go. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Sox - You're funny! I have 1 tv and 1 idiot converter box and 1 useless antennae. Guess that shows how much I watch tv. LOL Well, I did turn it on last night thinking it was Tuesday (NOVA night here). I ended up watching Castle as that was the only station I got last night. LOL

The Topamax is for the headaches I get from the provigil and nuvigil. You take one med for one symptom and get side effects from that so you need more meds for that, and so on and so on....

Leaving in a few minutes to go to the play. the weather is lousy here -- rain and cold. We are going out to dinner first and it takes about 45 minutes to get there. I think we are going to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner.

Wiz -- Good luck with the test! If you could get on at NIU, the state has pretty good health insurance.

Good morning everyone!

Wiz - Wishing you luck today!

Barb - How was the play? I hope you had a great time.

Vonn - Hang in there! Glad to hear you were able to start the C back up.

Fin - Hope you are feeling better today.

After day 2 of doing the Neti pot faithfully, I am feeling so much better!!! My sinuses are still a little congested but I really feel so much better.

Today I have to go to the school library and check out a book for my essay (rough draft). Then it is time for research. I also have a chapter to read for my anthropology class. I am finding it difficult to remember how to study. I keep reading the chapters for pleasure and forgetting that I am supposed to be reading for study. (Two different types of reading).

Have a great day everyone!

Debbie, I had a stiff neck like that a few years back.....before I was dx. I just attributed it to sleeping on it the wrong way......who knows, it could have been caused by the MS. Anyway, I couldn't turn my head to the left without terrible pain. Made driving challenging! It finally went away on its own. I used moist heat and that helped. I probably couldn't do that now. I hope it clears up for you soon.

We had thunderstorms here this morning. From about 5 AM to 7 AM it was really storming. Now.......bright and sunny. And warm! I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year!

I bought 1 ticket for Mega Millions lottery last night and won $2. Now I've got to figure out how I'll spend it! Maybe I'll splurge and buy 3/4 lb. ground beef!!

I'm going to try to get some house cleaning done today. I need to run the vacuum over all the hardwoods. I have little cat fur tumbleweeds blowing around! The cats are "napping" in the sun in the sunroom windows so I'll have to wait till they move because the vacuum scares them. Are these guys spoiled or what??? I know......I know.......

Ya'll have a wonderful Wednesday!

I just went through something like this a few months ago. DBF tried to massage the shoulder/neck area but as soon as he touch it the muscles went in to spasms. Somewhere on NT someone (MrsD ???) posted about Salonpas. After 3 days of this pain, I decided to try them to see what would happen. They worked!!!! I put a patch on before going to bed, took a couple Advil, and when I woke up I could move so much better and the pain was reduced to be just sore.

DD18 wanted to try them as she was sore from dancing. It worked for her as well.

You can buy them at Walgreen's. They are in the area with the sports med stuff. They are not expensive at all and worth the $4.00 or so that I spent on them.
