No, this is my first foray into foreign language classes. I can communicate fairly well and sell to those customers but I'm having a tough time with the grammar and details of spanish. :o :confused: I communicate more with presence than just language alone. I use the spanish sales catalog and have the customer follow along. If there aren't spanish fluent reps available, the customers are satisfied with me for the most part. :cool: :plain: It's either that or come back and wait in line for a bilingual rep.

Hi 2K2C .. well, all the nurse would tell me that there isn't anything to lower the enzymes .. so, I did my own research - learned about Vitamin E ... and 3 days before I had to go in for another blood draw, I started Vit E .. and the results dropped!!! so, when the month was up to go for another blood draw - the enzymes were as close to normal as never before (who knows if they were ever or always elevated from the get-go!)

this is what I take everyday:
1 tab - Women's ONE A DAY (over 50)
2 gels - 1000mg/gel -Flax Seed Oil
3 gels - 400 iu/gel - Vit E
3 gels - 2000 iu/gel - Vit D3
1 tab - 2000mg/tab - B12

have that with some juice and a banana or blueberries ...

then - probably around 1-2pm .. take another B12 ... and it restores my energy to enjoy the day

I feel like a normal person with my daily shot ... and have to pace myself regarding too many projects and getting over-excited .. and do okay! that's why I'm considering opening up a small gift shop - with quilting and crafts/art ...

ya - I'm scared ... but, it really keeps my mind off of me - and onto helping others ...

Good Morning! I am ready for class so I thought I would stop by for a few minutes. Got my flu shot yesterday afternoon. My upper arm was hot, red, and sore throughout the night, but seems to be fine now. I also received a summons for jury duty the week prior to Thanksgiving week and the week after. Since I already got out of jury duty this summer, I have to show up this time. Hopefully, they will settle out of court and I will not have to go. I would hate to miss too many classes so late in the semester.

I slept until 10:30 AM today! Well, I was up early when DS left for work. WHY is it so hard for boys/men to be quiet? I guess my own light sleeping habits tend to make me wake up at the least little sound so it's not all his fault. :o

My little great-niece is having surgery this morning (she is in surgery as I type this) for her Neuroblastoma. She completed 5 rounds of chemo and the tumor shrunk enough for surgery to be safe. She should be out by 1 PM. Thank you everyone for praying for her. I will update on the thread in the Sanctuary.

It's another beautiful day here today. Needed the heat this morning but will probably need the A/C by this afternoon. :rolleyes: I wish I could just open all the windows but my allergies prevent me from doing that. I'd be a sniffling, runny-nosed, red-eyed mess if I did that! :p

Pam, what a blessing! Three job offers in one week! I know it sounds daunting but ya'll will make the right decision. Maybe you can move to GA and we can be neighbors! :)

Barb - Because of some of my cognitive issues as well as the physical aspect of sitting in court all day, I, with a note from my dr., am permanently released from jury duty. While I would love to be a juror, if they present visual information I wouldn't remember much of it.:o Plus, when too much is going on I have auditory memory issues as well as encoding and recalling.:o Of course, if they would let me read the transcript and/or court reports in a quiet room, I could do it. Good luck and hopefully it will settle out of court and you won't have to miss any work over it.

Pam - You can take the credit on the computer stuff. You did help.:D That is awesome that your DH got 3 job offers. You both will make the right decision.:hug:

Sandy - Why did they have the meeting without the family? That doesn't seem right as your mom needs more care now and they normally involve family. I'd be ticked as heck and on the phone in a heartbeat. I hope everything works out for you all and continue to pray for you.:hug:

well, I did it .. just got back from talking with the owner of the grocery store about - 'LET'S DO IT' ... so, between now and Dec 1 ... going to go to 2 craft shows (for now) ... the 30th and 6th ... and OPEN right after Thanksgiving ...

you know - I have to DO something ... and I can only do so much - and as long as I pace myself .. and not try to overwhelm myself ... I'll be able to control this disease ...

this time - I'm ready ... it's a good thing - not a gushy feeling ... but a positive one ...

don't have to sit or stand for long periods of time ... and, I'm the boss! :Dancing-Chilli:

don't know if I'm excited or calm because I'm doing what I love - I keep going back to it ... and I should of learned from my past learning experiences - that I can do it better this time!!
