Hi everyone...who's around, that is...:confused:

Kitty, I loved my bread machine too. The last two loaves didn't rise, so I think my machine might be broken. I usually buy the boxed bread machine mixes. It smells so great when it's baking, esp when you make stew or soup at the same time:)

Sandy, you posted a bad word:( I hate what's coming...at least this week's been great.

I have a ton of leaves falling already...I had to put the net over the koi pond. Ugh, it's so messy.

My fish had a baby!! DH saw this little tiny thing swimming around. I haven't seen it since Sunday, but how in heaven's name it's going to survive the winter I'll never know...

I went to work out today, but made it about 20 feet from the car before going back in and driving home...I was so weak I could hardly stand, and started the falling-asleep-while-driving thing on the way home...I ate lunch and took a 2 hour nap. I'd been feeling so great lately; it makes me sad to feel crummy again:(

Well, DH is going to a ball game tonight so I'm going to relax and have some pesto and linguine (not DH's favorite), and watch some TV...some of the new shows start this week!!

back to work hit with 12 hour day... manager at night sick... and no coverage so I was there 12 hours...lucky though another manager offered to do my 7am today so I go in for a meeting at 1pm.. and do one persons performance review and come home... tired out.. and of course hurting...

I'm up much earlier than usual. DS overslept and it sounded like a bull in a china shop as he was hurrying to get a shower and out the door! :rolleyes: I'm sure today will be a "nap" day for me.

Good morning. I am sitting in my office grading papers and getting ready for class. I just took my first tizantidine in the morning today, and I am feeling icky/weird. I don't know if I am just imagining it or not:rolleyes: It has not bothered me the last 5 nights, but I took it right before bed then. Well I hope I do not act too spacey in front of the students.

My sis's DIL called me at 7am this morning. Grrr, I was still asleep. I get my best sleep between 5-8 am, esp when I've been awake during the night. My sister is in a lot of pain...she was in for a CT scan yesterday and her hamstring began to ache. Now she's in terrible pain and she's maxing out on the meds they give her...
The docs put a drain in her side to get some of the infection out of the pocket in her...it's coming out black and sticky:eek: The doc said he's never seen anything like it. Now they're worried she has a couple more pockets of infection formed. Does not sound good, IMO:(:( I'm glad I went to visit...I have a feeling that she might not make it through this...

Well, I'm going to try once again to go work out. Just so darned pooped...could it be the blues, or the MS? Whatever it is, it's interfering with my life, darn it!!

my update: Well, this old hip is giving me a hard time. I just want to
lie around with a hotpack on it!

Instead, I am taking care of three extra kids this afternoon and bringing
them all to the pto picnic they have at the elementary school. Good news
is , Im only picking up pizza to bring so it will be easypeasy.

On days like this, I keep trying to remind myself that I am still doing
most of what I love so I should just shut up and keep on going! Just
take my meds and shut my yap!!! I feel better already!!

Hey all, yesterday I power washed all three decks and cleaned the pond filters, did some laundry. I was beat I tell ya! I hope I washed the decks good enough because I just cannot do it again.

Hi all, Just a quicky Sending well wishes for you all. Been to kent to put wreath on great uncles memorial he was in RAF died last day of the battle of Britain. Took 30 odd years to find his plain/body. He's our hero. I have developed an infection in my toenail keeps bleeding more hassle. Be good or not what ever takes your fancy :p Love to you all. I am taking a day off from school today -- still feeling icky. My sis posted on FB that last night Anya (she is almost 5 now) asked my bil for a shih tzu. And he told her he was not going to get her one. So she responded "well then I am going to call you a little girl. How do you like that?":D

barb..oooh, we always had shih-tzus(sp?) growing up. They are the
sweetest dogs and my db with allergies was able to be around them.
My mom is on the hunt for another, she is looking to rescue one so it
is taking time. Travis(her last pup) is burried on top of the mountain
behind our house.:)
