our son sean the katies son landon are best buds, when mom said ok its time to go you should of seen landon run to seans arms and had such a pitiful sad face, lol deb and me looked at each other and went ahhhhhhhh, it was a priceless thing, this was my first visit with the baby, she is a darling child, those eyes just taking the whole world in, I love that look in kids, she is gonna be a smart kid,

what was also cool and I know no way, although sean said daddie at 4 months but as katie gave me Heather to hold deb me and katie were there and it sounded like she said hi we all freaked lol sure it was some baby sound but was pretty cool, katie said this is just great, because her sons first words were to me also gwanpa,

Good mornin' Insights! Wake up, the coffee is done. Mmmmmm, it smells good.

We're off to the Hannah Montana party today at my cousin's house. I am about to get Jim up around 7:45 to finish his coffee. I was up way to late watching Big Brother After Dark. That show is addicting!

Dinner was great last night. :) We talked and had a grand ol' time.

Not quite sure what I'm going to do today. Hubby's having a guy's outing to the air show. A bunch of bikers riding down to Dayton and back.

Then I have the art show this evening. So have to figure out what to do before hand, lol. I'll probably just putter around. Maybe make some plans to work outside a little.

It's a busy weekend for us (thank goodness for the break in the heat), and tomorrow afternoon we have plans to go to a friend's. So I'm trying not to push too hard, even though I feel a little better.

LOL, naw it's not going. Already dropped two of my babies off when I went to check out the details of the show. This one I spent Thursday and yesterday studying pics of motorcycles so I could at least get close to it.

But I worried for nothing because everyone had their own interpretation. I slowly learned that art is left open to interpretation and some will even argue theirs. lol

Morning, Sandy! Thanks for the wake up call.

I slept in today and didn't get up until 8:30!!!! Must have needed that sleep.

Don't know what we are going to do today. Weather report - hot! lol I am going to catch up on my e-mails and maybe get some painting done. I've been too stress to settle down enough to paint. I did clean my house though. lol When I'm stressed, I clean.

I did accomplish something with the state yesterday and finally got someone to do something about the application issue with KidsCare. That was a huge relief to me.

Of course, MS is always in the back of my mind but there are so many other things that can be going on. DD16 could just be suffering from migraines. She has severe vertigo, headaches, neck pain, blurred vision, nystagmus, and hand tremors. All of these can occur with certain types of migraines. But you just have to wonder sometimes.

Back in 2005 both girls and DBF had mono and I am sure I got then too just didn't know it. Since then, DBF is fatigued all the time. DD18 who prior was so healthy and would fight off anything in a day or 2, kept getting sick. Her dr diagnosed her with CFS due to the mono. And now DD16 is having problems. In between all of this I was diagnosed with MS. While I had an MRI done in 2003 and had a couple of lesions, I had no clinical symptoms. Do you think there's a connection here?:rolleyes:

I am sitting here trying to let my food digest....I am soooo stuffed. My parents do not care for Italian food...i told them its because they have never had REAL Italian food so I am trying to break them in! Tonight I made a pan of homemade manicotti from some sauce I put up last week, and next weekend I think I will make something else....maybe a frittata for breakfast! They both...especially my stepdad and grandpa loved it!

Frank, lol - know all about not being able to sit still sometimes.

Renee, cool beans cooking real italian for them. It tastes so much better that way.

something awesome happened yesterday :: I got outta here and went to a new quilt shop in a new (very small town) .. about 30 minutes away ...

I told her about the quilt corp - and my idea to make quilts for the vision-impaired ... and she is excited for me and said to me as soon as I put together how I want to approach this, she will contact her quilting guilds and other contacts about my mission!

and back on Thursday, I went to Nancy Notions here in town, and talked to a girl about it ... and she is going to help set up a 'workshop' Saturday in March (now remember, this place is the *in* about quilting, sewing stuff) ...

now to keep my calm ... stress level down ... the friend I met yesterday already has me 'moving' into a bigger building to live and have a place for quilters and programs!

okay .. better go before I get a 'big' head about this ... need to stay humble! this is for those with a need - and I have the tool to meet it ... and to leave it as a legacy for years to come after I'm gone!:winky:

Good Morning! Ahhh...the weather here is cool and there's very low humidity. I went outside to feed the birds and it felt so good.

We had a good time at the birthday party yesterday. They had smoked a boston butt and made chopped bbq out of it. Also had hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and a million side dishes. There were probably 50-60 people there...I was surprised! Kevin racked up the giftcards and even won $50 off of a lottery ticket someone gave him as a gift! He said he's going to save it and buy tickets when the jackpot is really large. He spent the night up there last night as the party went on till after midnight.

Jessica's Mom made the cutest birthday cake. It looked like a huge cheeseburger! She did a really good job on it - I thought she bought it somewhere but she made it herself. I was impressed! Not sure I could pull off something like that.

Matt and I came back home last night but he went right back out to another cookout at a friends house. Wish I had his energy! Guess I did when I was 25. He ended up staying the night at this friends house so it's very quiet here this morning. I am not complaining!

Just sitting here watching a little bird feed it's babies underneath the birdfeeder. There's a bunny eating over by the barn. Very peaceful to watch.

Think I'll put on a pot of butterbeans and let them cook real slow all day. I got some fresh silver queen corn, too. Maybe we'll have it for dinner tonight.

Vonn - girl, you're just becoming famous!! I want a quilt so I can say "I knew her when..."!! I'm so proud of you! You're always thinking of others. :)

I'm very sore right now from yesterday. I guess all the standing around I did made my muscles scream, even with the moments of sitting down I did. Either that or it was all the little chores I did to steady my nerves beforehand, LOL. ;)

Just hoping I feel better this afternoon. Going to a friend's house. Haven't seen them for awhile.

I couldn't keep up with the "insights" thread in my other life, and I can't keep up with this one either! :D I think it must be like starting to watch a TV series that's been on already for a few years: Who's that guy? Are they together? What did she mean by that reference? Who are they talking about? What's going on???

I lurk once in a while and enjoy the glimpse into all of your lives, but it boggles my mind the way you are able to keep track of each thread woven in among the others!

Hey everyone! The party was nice yesterday. We got home about 7:30pm and chilled the rest of the night. Chris moves out tomorrow and both boys will be gone until Thanksgiving. Kind of sad about it but glad to have my house back too. lol

Not much going on here, I had gotten my whole house back in order and really cleaned and than was staying on top of it and than I got a cold from the kids, and they didn't even act very sick but it's kicking me in the butt. Now my house is a wreak again, DH tried to get the kids to get it all clean but as you other moms and dads know the kids can't clean like mom cleans. :rolleyes:

My moms doing good, much better than I would have thought, she's still looking for a job but it's only been a week. She found out she can get unemployment so that will help and come Feb. she can get early SS if she only works part time (I don't think she can work full time anyway).

B2Y- while you were away Sandy and Frank had an illicit love affair and Sandy had a baby...but when Frank took a paternity test it turned out that it was really Moi's baby instead. I developed a split personality or so everyone thought and in the end everyone realized I really had an evil twin who has since died in a fiery car crash. Jenn got married only to find out her marriage wasn't legal because the guy she married was still married to Tricia! And here all this time Tricia thought they were legally divorced and she had moved on to someone else, meanwhile the sneaky scoundrel ran off to Belize where we think Kayo may be harbering him!
