Good morning all:) I will check back in later.:hug::hug:

Wow Kelly..........you rock.....must be all that new energy:D!

yeahbut 10-10-2008 07:57 AM

Good Morning Everyone!

I did sleep a little better last night but I had a drink when I got home from school hoping to relax me a little, I think it helped! :D

David is heading to Baker Lake today, my favorite place on the earth and I have decided that it will be to cold tonight (down to 40) to sleep in the tent. Even though we have an air mattress and I have a sleeping back that goes down to -30 I am still making the choice to stay home. This is extremely hard on me. I want to go so bad. I know when he leaves my heart is going to break. Last night it only got down to 52 and I could of handled that but Baker Lake is another 2 hours North of here and the temps change a lot in that small distance.

Hope everyone has a great day. I have some errands to run, got to go to the grocery store for him and home! And fill up on gas which is down to $3.11 a gal.

Oh wait, one more thing! I got a 100 on one of the Test I took last Tuesday!! That was the day I had 2 test in one day! havent gotten the second one back yet.

Good morning everyone!

I am ready to leave on my little weekend getaway. I am supposed to pick up my freidns and a half hour. They are going to help with the driving and cost of gas. Gasoline was down to $2.95 last night.

Kelly, Thanks! I hope you continue to feel better and better. Did you ever hear from your neuro? I may have missed.

Char, do something special for yourself this weekend. Rent a few movie your boyfriend would not want to see, order out your favority food, and buy some good chocolate. At least that is what I would do. Do something to make yourself happy.

Hope you all have a good weeked. I'll see you on Sunday night if I have any energy left.:D

Vonn07 10-10-2008 08:47 AM

:yahoo: CHAR :yahoo: ... way to go on the test .. the 2nd one will be good too!

Hi Becky! good thing you don't have to move your mouth when typing online .. hope you feel better!

Hey Kay - are you swimming?? did a big tropical storm come your way?? we worry about ya!

Kelly - I was *considering* logging on to the computer around 5ish this morning ... but, couldn't convince myself to come out from under the blanket - so I turned on the TV! LOL

Frank - you sound like your in a 'dangerous' daring-mode this morning ... coffee does that to ya, huh?

Sandy & Jim - LOVE LOVE LOVE the new avator!

Deb - take care of your sinuses!!

Barb - gas is still at $3.35 here north of Madison ... good thing I have about a 1/2 of tank from last week at $3.62!

DebbieD - we're here for ya ... thanks for sharing .. and prayers, too!

where's that Jenn?? ... miss her morning wake-up coffee calls before she use to go in to work!! now she's sleeping in more! totally understand!

weegot5kiz 10-10-2008 08:51 AM

Char congrats on test, sorry about the weekend:hug:

Vonn oxygen does it to me, waking up does it to me

morning barb and sox hope your weekends are great, yeah barb we paid 318 a gallon the other night, guess this means they all are done price gouging

Vonn07 10-10-2008 08:56 AM

OXYGEN, Frank??? guess that counts me in too ..

***funny guy***

tkrik 10-10-2008 09:10 AM

Good morning everyone! Got my coffee in hand and am enjoying the stillness around me. All the neighborhood kids don't have school today so it's quiet around here.

Char - Do something fun for yourself this weekend. Barb had some great ideas.

Becky - Glad you are starting to feel better.

Debbie D - Good for you! I am glad to hear you decided to go back in to counseling and most importantly, you have a good therapist.

Sandy - That graphic is so cool!!!

Barb - Have a great weekend! It can be so refreshing to get away like that.

Kelly - I'm here! Still spasming though and fighting extreme fatigue. :mad::(

Frank - Homemade ice cream??? Yummy! My mom used to make that every so often. We loved it as it was such a special treat.

Wiz & Deb - I hope you both start feeling better. Colds and sinus infections - yuck. I have been doing my Neti pot almost faithfully and am happy to report that so far I have not had a sinus infection (almost always have one at this time of the year) and my allergies are doing so much better. Hang in there girls and get better soon.

Hi Sox, Vonn, Weave, Renee, Sarah, and anyone else I missed. I hope everyone has a nice day.

ewizabeth 10-10-2008 09:23 AM

Good morning everybody! :) It's Friday!!!

I feel better today but my left nostril is sore from my drippy nose, (I know, tmi, lol)

Kelly, I'm allergic to tea, isn't that crazy? I wish I could drink some! Maybe I'll get some chicken broth cubes later on.

I'm glad you're feeling better today, I am too! :) I know I won't overdo it today, since I'm at the office, but tomorrow will be a different story. I have about 120 flowering bulbs to plant outside and I have to clean the bathrooms. :plain:

Barb, Have fun in the Quad Cities, I haven't been there in decades! When I was a kid, that was the big place to go for shopping trips. :)

Becky, I hope your mouth will be completely healed soon. You really had a lot done. :hug: I have a feeling I'm going to need some dental work soon, and I hope it isn't anything major. I have some humongous fillings in a few molars and one of them is bothering me. I see the dentist next week.

Frank, How is your son doing today? Feeling a bit better I hope?

Deb, I hope your sinus infection will be relieved from the abx soon. Sinus pressure and pain is the worst. :hug:

Char, I second what Barb said about the movie and take out food, what a great idea! And I'm glad you slept better. :hug: And congrats on the 100%!!! :Bow: You know, when I was in school, even though it was online, my symptoms were worse, especially the spasticity, I think it was from sitting and reading and typing for so long, it made me extra stiff. Then when I did get up and do something, I was more likely to injure myself and have extra pain as well. I wonder if that is part of what you've been going through?

Everybody else, have a great weekend!!!

You know, Barb, I called on Wednesday and his nurse said they would call me but it would be after 5 PM. She told me at that time that he had received the films and had read them. Well, it's now Friday and, granted it's after 5 PM on Wednesday, I still haven't heard back from them!!! :eek:

I just called a few minutes ago and my doctor is in the other office today but she said either she or he will call me back before they leave today.

We will see.............:rolleyes: :p

Congratulations!!! That's wonderful news! You deserve to celebrate.....take Barb's suggestion and treat yourself this weekend. http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/k...es/gogirl1.gif

ewizabeth 10-10-2008 09:32 AM

Vonn,

You sound so happy lately, and that's great!!! :) :hug:It's so nice to see you in a fabulous mood Sweetie!

DebbieD,

I hope the counseling helps a lot. I went after my Dad died, while my Mom was still sick. It isn't easy caring for ailing parents, and to top it off, having MS symptoms without a DX. :hug: Maybe we do need another GTG!

Tkrik,

Thanks Sweetie. I've used something similar and I always seem to make things worse with those. I used Ocean Spray. It's like I pushed the stuff up into the top of my sinuses (again, tmi, lol). I think this is nearly over, thank goodness!!

Sandy,

Are you cleaning the bathrooms? If so, I better get moving soon! You'll make me look like a slacker, lol.

Vonn07 10-10-2008 09:34 AM

thanks, Wiz ... I figure if I can help someone else feel better - I do too ..

**gosh, wonder how I'll be after I get the SSDI working for me??**LOL

weegot5kiz 10-10-2008 09:34 AM

I hope it will be soon. Then we'll have to throw a huge party to help you celebrate. :hug:

Vonn07 10-10-2008 09:43 AM

HA HA .. that'll be funny ... we'll have crackers and cheese ... after the lawyer takes his chunk, there won't be much left! (hopefully be able to go as far back as Aug 2007, or Jan 2008 will work!!

FinLady 10-10-2008 09:51 AM

Looks like it's time for :hug::hug: all around. Everyone who's feeling down or sick, I really hope you feel better soon.

Coffee hasn't kicked in yet, so the brain is still asleep. :D Read through all the posts, but what I want to say keeps "poofing" from this fuzzy head of mine. Know you guys are great. :grouphug:

Vonn's comment got me thinking (and I remembered it, lol). I really need to work on a sleep schedule even if I'm not offically working. More than likely will help with fatigue if I do that. LOL, first time in my life I'm actually trying to plan a real set bedtime.

Anyhoo, got to make a small to do list and finish this coffee so I'm awake. Have a great day all. :grouphug:

Twinkletoes 10-10-2008 10:54 AM

Hi people! Good sunny morning to you!

(dons mask) Sorry, heard some of you were contagious. Just getting over the stomach clench here. Never did throw up, just had this wicked gripping sensation if I'd eat the wrong foods. Think how skinny I would be if it would do that for choccy! :rolleyes:

Bathrooms? You're supposta clean them? Hmmm. Let's get Wiz: she's always plunging her toilet. ;)

Frank n Deb, so glad you got Jr. back home. What a nightmare for you all! Kids. If we didn't love 'em so much we'd have to strangle them.

Trish, glad you were able to shake those demons out of your possessed leg! So, did your daughter think you were just practicing for Dancing With the Stars or something?

Sandy, I'm like Jim, in that anytime anyone mentions they have a symptom I'm familiar with, I automatically think they must have MS! Or something neurological.

MS bugs thrive here at my house, lol! The thought of it being a real bug makes me very uneasy, so I always brush it away, just like Sandy said.

Kelly, how are plans for the Georiga GTG coming? Should we have it in your neck of the woods? Can't wait!

Vonn, how's your lighthouse coming? I'd like to see your blueprints! I've never known anyone who wanted to live in a lighthouse!

Momma, so sorry you is havin' a fatigue day. Why don't you go sit out on the porch with your double barrel shotgun and look fer varmints. That oughta make you feel bettah!

Wow, Barb, cheap gas! I'd better hurry up and use that expensive stuff in my tank so I can take advantage of the new lower prices, lol! Ours is about $3.35 now here in Utah.

DebbieD, glad to read that you have gotten some issues resolved. :hug: Sorry for the stiffness. I lowered my dose of LDN and happy to be not as stiff today.

Becky, glad you are doing better. Sorry about your dumb tooth. Did the Tooth Fairy leave you a quarter? :grin:

Char, keep up the good work in your schooling! So proud of you!

Oh, don't know how many of you know PolarExpress, but please visit the Spiritual Sanctuary and add your condolences at the sudden passing of her dear 27yo (step) daughter. She may not have given birth to LeeAnna, but she was definitely her mother.

Where or where is CayoKay? I watched a TV doc last night about a cave called ATV, just 2 hours from where she lives. They used to do human sacrifice there a lot of years ago when times got tough. Even young children. :(

Have a great day, everyone!

weegot5kiz 10-10-2008 10:57 AM

thansk RO I didnt think of mentioning the bad news regarding Polar aka kris

SandyC 10-10-2008 10:57 AM

Hey all! We're about to get up to run some errands. First, Walmart to pick up everything on my list. Second, Zales to pick up Jim's earring. Third, Winding Creek nursery to pick up some more massaging rub for Jim. Yep, they sell that there too! I love the farmers around here! Then home.

:grouphug: to all who are feeling blah. Jim's sinuses are making his nauseous and the fatigue is a pain. Maybe when it gets cold he'll feel better.

KUDOS to Char!!!!!!! You go girl! Becky/BFF missed you too! :hug: Wiz, I haven't started yet. No, wait, I did put toilet cleaner in the toilet. lol

Everyone have a great day and stay healthy. Hey Wiz, weren't we supposed to get you some plants from my garden? lol

That would be great!! There are lots of great places to have it here....all kinds of restaurants. Do you have a specific date that you'll be here yet or is that still up in the air?

I can't wait!! :D

Vonn07 10-10-2008 11:07 AM

hey Twink ... I have the lighthouse plans ready ... had them before being dx'd ... now had to re-design for wheelchair accessability ..

still going to have a winding staircase to an upper loft .. but it will be more of storage of craft supplies and such ... out of the view ..

first floor - ALL open concept (except the bathroom and laundry off to one room on side)

then second out-building for studio/craft shop/quilt corporation ...

In the spring I will, I think it's only an hour drive or less from here to there? I want some bleeding hearts!! I think those divide and transplant best in the spring? I did a search on restaurants in your town yesterday, thinking we could kill two birds with one stone. :) You must be a mind reader! :eek:

They don't put the menus online though!

SandyC 10-10-2008 11:28 AM

I am about 45 minutes from NIU if that helps. Spring it is then! I am hoping I can save some bleeding hearts. I was looking at my largest one and I think someone/something tried to dig it up. lol

popped the suckah back in mah mouth, and... WHOOPSIE !!

We've missed you Kay!!! :hug:

You know, when I was a kid, my older brothers had a paper grocery bag with mercury in it. I picked it up and it started to seep out from the gaps in the bottom, and soaked into the hardwood floor cracks in our upstairs hallway. So just like magic it was all gone! :icon_eek: Who knows what my brothers were up to with that? Maybe that's when my neuro problems started too? I know I tried to scrape some of it up with my fingers, then probably went and bit my nails five minutes later, lol. :eek:

LOL. I tried the thermometer against the lightbulb trick. It of course registered way too high when it was checked. My dad looked at me, looked at the lamp on my nightstand, and said "yea, right." :D

Trying to get this business thing up and running. Just when I think I got it all, I find something else I need to do. Oh well, it will come to pass someday. :)

David is gone, left about an hour or so ago. Going to get my jammies on here in a few minutes and start relaxing! Got some sympathy food to munch on at the grocery store this morning :D

about the ATM cave, it's Actun Tunichil Muknal ~ Cayo

lol, like a bank ATM, *not* an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle), Twink !!

I haven't been there (yet), it seems a bit out of the range of my physical abilities at this time, but from all reports of pals, it's a fascinating tour.

I have several pieces of Cayo Red clay pots, found on my land, when digging the foundation... I have them cleaned and on display on my dresser.

they're pieces of a pots like the one in the third photo here:

Vonn, LOL. If you're nuts, than so am I. :Crazy 2: It's great to see you've got all those projects brewing. :)

Kay, that cave looks great! Thanks for sharing the site. It's cool you have some of that pottery. :cool:

~~~~~
Had to take a quick run to the grochery store. Speaking of sinus issues, the hubby has had a bad run of them today. :( He's been napping on and off since around 2. So got some soup and meds for him.
I think dinner is going to be grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup in a little while.
Hope everyone has a good night. :grouphug:
Or.... :Ponder: we could ask flygirl if I still have time to transplant in zone five? I'm thinking it might be too late, but maybe she can clarify that? If so, I could come over this weekend if you aren't busy? We could have a mini GTG! :)
I think this is just sinus weather, we all seem to be getting it to one degree or another. I hope your hubby will feel better soon! What the heck is it in the air anyway, maybe leaf mold?
