Me too!!
I miss watching "Little Rascals" and Saturday morning tv when they had good shows like "Rin-Tin-Tin and "Fury". i barely remember these as I was an infant. I miss watching shows on tv and not having to cringe during advertisements about body functions, personal hygiene and "Bobs" new and improved equipment. I miss drugstore soda fountain cokes and eating as much as I want and not gaining an ounce!!

I don't know what those are Kicker but you made me miss snow cream. My mom would put a bowl out in the snow and catch it. Then she would add eggs, sugar, vanilla and milk and we'd have a feast of fresh snow cream. Yum!

I miss Agree too - never found a shampoo that smelled as nice.
But I can still get candy cigarettes if you want some. I miss real Italian ice, from the old man who sold them off his push cart by the Food Fair.

Good thread/topic!
I miss... The cupcakes that were carrot cake with a banana cream filling. (Maybe Hostess was the originator for mass-marketing them?) Missile pops / rockets (ice cream) that had layers of chocolate and banana. Handmade lollipops from a candy store in Cape Porpoise, Maine. Milk delivered in glass bottles; my great aunt always managed to have it delivered every summer I visited. The glass bottles are gone and so is my aunt .

I miss those powdered suckers from the candy store (I forget their name). They came in soft colors on a white stick and were usually found in a big plastic container.
I miss penny candy and little brown bags to put it in. I miss my grandma's crotchet shawls she would make for all us girls.

We used to walk down to the little 5 & 10 cent store and get those little tiny brown bags of penny candy. Do they even make bags that small anymore?! I'd always get the grape bubble gum that came individually wrapped in clear plastic. Then the wax lips, the candy cigarettes, the "dots", and that round piece of caramel with the white sugary center (caramel creams). The Boston Beans (which were really peanuts with some sort of candy coating), the pixy stix and bit 'o honey. Remember the candy necklace? I miss all that stuff.....it's a wonder our teeth didn't rot! But we had Close Up toothpaste!!
