Default Does anyone know what this means?

I have an idea about what this means but I want to be sure. I want to do some research before my next appointment. I came here and thought someone may know.

Exert from my cervical CT scan:

degenerative changes at the atlantoaxial articulation with mild pannus formation

Thank you in advance for your help!

Donna
