About 6 weeks ago, while I was having the severe pain in my faceon the right and severe neuralgia pain on the left. The right side got better after a round of antibiotics when sinus xrays showed sinus infection. I increased the Tegretol for the lefft side wheich helped some what. Then I eventually got occipital injections on both sides and now the only thing I left is just mild neuralgia on the left. In the meantime I started having some neuralgia in my upper let arm, some times in my lower. I wouldn't say it wa severe but it wasn't comfortable at all. Now it is negligable along with the level on my face.

So after seeing doctor for several times I got an order for sed rate and cervical MRI. They called me today and the Sed rate was pretty high and the MRI showed disc and spur complexes and moderate complexes and modrate spinal stenosis. So he said he wants a neuro surgeon consult and then ordered a lot of blood work. I'm not sure I can spell what they are looking for, Sjojeorns, RA, Scleradoma, sarcoidosis. It's that first one that I don't know the spelliing. I can't believe that I was once an RN

Can anyone give me light on what this disc stuff means. The link I looked at didn't make any sense. I have had a cervical hemi lamenectomy before, quite a few years ago. The doctor has quit and it seems that his records are pretty much unattainable. His office said they all in boxes tucked away. So the surgeon I am referred to will just look at my MRI and then decide whether or not to see me. I have such little teeny tiny pain. I don't understand

It seems as if I have been real needy on this forum lately.
