Don't know how unique any of this is... just trying to come up with anything you guys don't know about me yet.
:D 1. First time I picked up a gun, I shot the yolk out of an egg at 30 yds on my 2nd try. Shot 4 out of 5 eggs. With a Colt .22 pistol, which was better than the guys with their rifles lol. Oddly, I cannot hit a ball with a golf club or a baseball bat. 2. Aside from family, I'm the only person I know IRL who does not claim to have some Native American heritage. Mostly Irish with some natural and artificial flavorings. 3. Sudoku addict here, too. Not as fast as Tom though. I can do a 5 star challenge in 9.5 mins - that's why he works for Nasa, and I don't. ;) 4. If I had been a boy, my mom says she would have named me Ichabod. She didn't have a name picked out for a girl (wasn't expecting to have a girl). Guess with 5 kids running around, she didn't have time to think up names. Wonder how they found time to HAVE a sixth? lol.... 5. I have had paranorml experiences since I was a young child. I know, sounds crazy. A lot like ms, it's hard to believe unless it happens to you. A friend lived in a house where a murder/suicide had taken place, and I dreamed about it before I ws ever told of it. The story was confirmed both by her mother and much later by a historical document about the town and house. A couple years after that dream, I heard something walking around, rocking a rocking chair upstairs - and I was alone in the house. I think this is why I bought my house (because I sensed something about it). |

LMAO!!!! What a pair... Wilke and Ichy. :highfive: My mom likes 7/7's, by the way. |
1. I am a social gas bag. I am fine at home but get me in a crowd of people and my butt cheeks get a work out squeezing together so as not to embarrass myself.
2. I color code my clothes. 3. even after 26+ years of marriage, I still get my anniversary date wrong. 4. I still follow the same soap operas - it has been 35 years now. Some of the actors are still on the same shows. 5. I want a kindle very badly. |

My boyfriend took me to the gun range once in early 2006 and let me kill paper with his .380, but I got optic neuritis later that year and was terrified to pick up a gun after that. Maybe I'll try again now that my eye seems to be better. Hopefully the wacko numbness in my left hand will go away soon so I wont be afraid of dropping the gun. |

If you get a Kindle, you'll probably get hooked on it. Find out if there's a Coinstar machine nearby you that you can convert your change into Amazon gift certificates (no surcharge that I know of when you convert change into an Amazon gift card) You can then use your loose change, which can be considered "found money" to buy your Kindle books, rather than using a credit card all the time. (I buy several books a month for my Kindle) My dad reads slower than I do apparently. Or he gets bigger books. But, he got the Amazon gift card with his loose change at the Coinstar machine at the grocery store. He's got $100 in money to spend on his Kindle addiction now. (his piggy bank was really really heavy!) I love my Kindle. I was looking at my hard cover copy of one of the later Harry Potter books. I cant imagine holding up that heavy thing to read anymore. (I wish JK Rowling would Kindleize her books. darnit!) The Kindle is much easier to hold for people who have problems holding heavy objects. I'm having fun accessorizing mine. I bought a fancy book cover to put it into, and I've bought two bags to carry it around in (actually they're laptop cases for those teeny tiny netbook laptops. Just perfect for carrying a Kindle. Strangely enough, my netbook laptop doesnt fit in the bags...weird!) I'm hoping to get a Kindle 2 for my birthday this year. the Kindle 2 has a text-to-speech capability in it that's not in the Kindle1...as long as the author/publishing company hasnt forced Amazon to disable it on their books....Random House is the only one I know of right now that's had it disabled on their e-books. Hope you can get your Kindle soon. They're so cool! I'm going to go finish reading my latest ebook and buy another ebook to read. I love seeing it download into the Kindle. |
