Dawn,

Double OUCH!! That doesn't sound pleasant - the bone harvest part. I imagine you will have more post-op pain from this than from the fusion site, is that right? Do they do the harvest and then immediately do the fusion repair? How many days will you be in hospital afterwards? Is there someone who can let us know how things went and keep us up-to-date with you?

Will keep you in my prayers for a successful surgery and short&sweet recovery!!

Default Today ..

want to inform you that I maybe will be off for three weeks. Tomorrow, I will start my "cure" - I have already talked about it - and the internet point is expensiv so I will jump in rarely.

I keep my fingers crossed for you, if it is for the surgery (bone - dawn!) or the workers comp (mark) - I really hope that "the stars are staying good for you" (translated word by word from german - sorry but I hope you understand what it means!)

And all readers I wish a good and painfree time!
All the best wishes,
Barbara

Barb have a good "cure" we will be looking for you when you return.

hello to everyone this morning
jo

I added links to those Drs list threads into our useful sticky up at the top.
so if anyone needs that info it will be easy to find- plus I added it to both of my little websites and links to them.
If we ever start getting any newbies- LOL
still no word about BT1 - I asked in the BT1 flash chat and just was asked to have patience. LOL I think I spelled it wrong patient as being a drs patient or to have patience...??
AGGHHHRRR
I used to be an excellent speller- now i'm lucky if it looks near enough to right cause I can't remeber the difference geez

TODAY I......

Return a very light hug to Horizontal... like I tell my children "careful do not break the dad"

send all my best to Dawn ! If your surgeon is as skilled as the one who did my fusion, you will be up and about hours after surgery.. do hate to break it to ya, seems like the only way to get the pain from the illiac crest is woking through it... meds do not hurt either !

Barb, hope "the Cure" eases your tense nerves, though sure the down time will do you well !

Stardust, all I can say is things can not get much worse so my thoughts are always leaning towards the positive things in life .

Jo, that is great that you were able to retrive and get the old Drs. list up top... I did have one on here that I had from another source but it was not as thorough as that one !

Seen another member from the past Olcyen found her way over to BT2... staarting to seem like like the old board coming back together !!!

Pass along a wish that all are doing well and that with the start of a new week all remain pain free and any legal woes work out for the best ........... MARK-n-GOOBER

Question

TODAY I..... was wondering if anybody else has notice loss of hair on their arms down towards the wrist area... I know the vast majority over here are women therefore many of you might not notice due to gender differences

TODAY I.... Wish all a great day

I wish I would lose some hair !
especially the "old lady peach fuzz" LOL

I think some hair loss can be thyroid related, has your beeen checked lately?

Is your hair loss in an area where you have a lot of symptoms or pain?
{swelling or parenthiesia?/ i butchered that word- i think}
could be a partial explaination if so.

No Jo the more I talk to people.... it does seem the finger nail growth and the diminishing hair all has to do with RSD (which I do not have )... my doctors call it CRP which from my understanding is the same thing. Old heck, I think we all change age from day to day on our age. Here again being the opposite gender (male) my age has not progressed from the age of 13 or 14... except now my toys cost a bit more... we all like bright shiny objctes that make noise

Thoughts go out to all>>> Mark-n-Goober !
