I was looking thru my bookshelf and found a reflexology book I had picked up ages ago and had forgot about..
This one is called Reflexology basics by Denise Whichello Brown It really has great pictures and simple explanations of the hows & whys. I'm going to keep it handy and try some of it in the evenings. Might be something to try, there's many books about it in most libraries too.

I had no idea that you could do reflexology on yourself, is that what this book teaches? I go for reflexology as part of my long list of pain management techniques, and although I can't say it helps as much as acupuncture, it does relax my entire body and provide some much needed pain relief temporarily, and it most definately helps with stress. I'm interested in the altrenative medicine, having tried the conventional and still having pain and issues, I'm searching other options. I will check this one out. Thank you for posting and sharing!!! Cathie |

Hello cath1,
As a reflexologist, I am continuously attempting to inspire my clients to give themselves reflexology While receiving reflexology is infinitely more wonderful than giving it to yourself, there is much to be accomplished "between sessions" that you can accomplish yourself. As a reminder, reflexology can be giving and received not only on the feet, but also on the hands and outer ears, as well. So, if you're just sitting around or have an extra minute or two, squeeze your hands together or just give your ear lobe a tug or two. It's all good ![]() I like to say, "Reflexology is not rocket science, but it will take you to the moon." Hope this gives you some license to practice some self-reflexology.
