Default Flying in a Airplane with TN

My son is in ny going to school and is having his showcase in may .I have Tn would i be able to fly with Tn or would it agravate the Tn?I live in florida so we are talking about a 2 and half hour filght. Any one with suggestions would be welcome. I know i could drive as well but prie of gas and the time it takes to get there seems flying would be better !! But i dont want my TN to get worse .
