Hi, Ginnie,

I hope you can be O.K. The new dose will help. Your plants get lots of attention.

Smile heater on at 69 degrees right now

Hi,

It is 69 degrees right now but I turned on the heater to blow the dust off in case I want the heat on later tonight. I have the windows open too --- Hubby is not home at the moment, otherwise I would not be able to do either one of the above.

I hate the smell of burned dust and whatever else hangs out in the heater for a year or two.

Tonight's expected low temperature is 48 degrees fahrenheit

OMG! that's like... aw man.... no words.
i am glad you have this little "window" when he is absent and you can clear out those vents, and get some fresh air into the apartment.

we "change" the air every single day. if the temps out are harsh one way or the other, we have to pick our times carefully, and do it quickly with multiple windows open and we turn on the bathroom vent and/or fans to help draw air currents through.

NO DOUBT!!!

Coool! (literally, too.)

Funny too because that is our expected high for tomorrow! With windchill factor considered, they are saying 43°F. Our low for tonight is 37.5 - just above snowpoint but we have clear skies, so no snow. It should remain clear for a while. I keep telling myself i need to get outside in this weather. I think it could be a ticket to feeling good. But i keep not doing it. Maybe I can find myself an errand.

i used to really enjoy these temps - which were only occasional - when i lived in Florida, because i could break out the gloves... on top of boots and scarves which i wore a lot regardless.

your post cracked me up Ginnie with all the graphics.

yah def don't post personal details you never know where theyr'e gonna look!

The air is pretty heavily "taxed" in most places... just by all the pollution and chemicals from automotive emissions and industrial waste to bug containment, fertilizer and who knows... if they add a fiscal charge to all that i guarantee, there will be a global revolt!

btw, i am grateful in my whereabouts they fertilize by scattering manure. i tell ya, when they lay that stuff down it stinks to High Heaven, but at least it is not harmful to the person!

Waves,

Yes. Find an errand. That would be good.

I am off Monday (our cool day) but I will see tdoc so I can find a scarf from the closet.
In an earlier post you mentioned how because in the winter you wear more items, the coordination takes more effort.
That is true and maybe why I hate cool days -- they require too much thought about dressing. Hot days are easy.

Hi, Waves,

Yes, I had a window of opportunity and shut the sliding glass doors and windows

But now there is a lizard trapped between the screen door and the sliding glass door. I hope that the little critter knows how to get back out. I guess Hubby is right --- he tells me that the lizards come in when I open the class door.

Hubby hates those little beings. He will knock over all manner of furniture to try to kill them.

Oh nooooo! POOR THING! I hope he doesn't get smooshed, essicated, or hubbied! i canNOT believe your hubby kills them.

If i were your neighbor you could knock on my door, and i'd come catch it for you and set it outside. Without defurnishing the place, i might add. When i was a kid, there was one house where lizards would enter through our air conditioning units (and possibly other places) regularly. we lived there a long time and i have always liked lizards....

Result, every time one was sighted it was my job to find and it and return it to the outdoors. i did that for years. and later did it in my workplaces too because most men didn't care and most women went "eek, ewwww, get it away from me."

so i am a very experienced and adept lizard-catcher ... i could even provide references

alas, i cannot catch it through the forum for you. are you afraid of lizards? would you be comfortable handling it to put it out? if so, i can give you some general tips...
