june 1st today is the first day of me back on a diet, low carb.
I wish I were able to follow the paleo diet...i really do.
I think it is healthy but is expensive.
I drank a ton of water today and started taking my mango pills.
I had turkey with a mild red curry sauce on spagetti squash.
tomatoes with ceasar dressing and a few strawberries with a dollup of whipped cream for desert. I just finished a bloody mary and I think we are going for a walk...if it is not in the 90's still.
tomorrow is a gym day so that is good.

left over turkey with spagetti squash from yesterday for breakfast. tuna salad, salad with slivers of carrots and purple cabbage and tomatos and a couple of apple wedges. lunch.....for dinner 8 oz extra lean hamburger topped with lite ceasar dressing, with 1 1/2 cups chopped brocolli. jeff made a big salad that I will eat later as a snack because I am very full!
I had 2 tablespoons of shelled hemp seeds which are awesome if you have never tried them. nutty and full of omega 3's and protein. I have had a lot of water, diet lemonaide. diet cranberry juice/water today.
good low carb day!

Low carb ??? You mean, no bread ?? sounds difficult to me...

I have been drinking lots of water too.... but I retain a lot !!!!

hi blue, have you been having more sodium in your diet? that can lead to fluid retention. I am not a big bread person so that is not hard to give up...there are some low carb breads out there. Natures own makes one with 8 net carbs per slice...so you can have bread and still be low carb...I am not counting anything, just know what to stay clear of.
Eating veggies, meats, eggs, some fruit and good fats, had gin and diet tonic water which feels good! on vacation this weekend going to new orleans. It is the oyster festival. we will listen to a great jazz band play tomorrow night called astral project. plans to go to the world war 2 war museum and shop the antique stores, coffee and beignets although it may be iced coffee because it will be so hot!
We will come back home on sunday.

I have been low carbing it for a week and have dropped ten pounds. I am very pleased to be under 220 again, so we'll see how it goes. I am so excited! Yep, Low Carb means no breads or potatoes or pasta. HARD but you get over it after about the third day. Good luck bizi!

I am back to drinking lots of water. Which has been my biggest goal
this week. And I'm eating yogurts, and fruits at least once a day.
I'm not big on either of those. But I'm working on getting back on them.

Today was a good eating day. Even though I had a piece of cheese pizza for lunch, I also had a salad, with cheese and egg on it. And salad dressing.
And then I had chicken fingers for dinner, with a few maybe 3 french fries.
I had ice tea for lunch and pop for dinner. But I was on the road today.

And took water for the road.

I will be going to Derrick's Special Olympics And am packing water for the
trip and down there will buy some more to drink on ice.

Its got to start getting better soon.
