Red face

Dear Majo

i know what you mean.

most of my wardrobe doesn't fit. my normal range (yes, i have a range) is between an 8 and a 10... pushing a 12 when i get depressed it had been.

then i had like long period of cycling esp w/ hypomania and mixed states where i ended up like a 6 or a 4.

then i got real bad in the head, and we fixed me with zyprexa.

THAT's when i shot up to a 16 like a rocket.... go straight to 16... do not pass Go, do not collect 200 dollars.

i "inherited" clothes from my mom most of which are not "me" but i didn't plan on staying that weight.

i bought one pair winter and one pair summer pants, black, for interviewing.
i bought one pair jeans because i can't live without jeans. and i had to get a winter jacket. but that's it.

i have boxes and boxes of things i'd like to wear, and can't.

i have a really sweet leather jacket...suede... very dark brown... matching gloves.... sigh. 1 long suede skirt, 1 shortish with fringe. black leather pants which are THE thing when it gets real cold. and a black leather mini but not the kind that shows yer butt crack (how can ppl wear those????) mine is "decent."

SIGH. i love leather.

double sigh. alll hanging up there.... in my closet.... would bust at the seams if i so much as looked at them....

i am moving a lot more since i started working, i hope that will help, because i am at a plateau. i lost 5 kilos (11 lbs), then a couple more but the came and went and came and went and .... i'm up 1 lb now from when i said i was depressed and was just going into basic damage control mode. that's ok. i usually gain when depressed.... that i kept 9lbs off is goo.

lately i've been hungrier and eating more but i have to because i burn so much more.

i feel i need to let my body get used to its new routine and caloric needs, before i will lose any more.

Funny thing is, my sugar is alright.... Last time it was 86 and I think even 100 is the average... What I had high like hell was insulin ! normal range was up to 6 or something and I had 30 !!! Glucophage is supposed to help with that without downing my sugar levels...

(((Ginnie))) hope your family issues get better soon ! OMG, and those mangos sounded so yummy... I think we have them here too... That's for reminding me about them !!

(((Waves))) I have boxes with clothes too... so depressing... Yesterday I spent hours looking for a tee I remembered I have and when I finally found it, I just realised how tiny it is !!!
I'm usually a 12 size, when I was anorexis I was a 4 size but right now I'm over 14 and can't wear jeans or stuff !!! Annoying and depressive...

Hugs for everybody !!!!

Dear Majo,

1.
My tdoc says that we need to eat more mindfully -- sit at table with a plate -- no reading in front of the computer or a book. Also, we don't need to eat just because we start to feel a little hunger. We can wait until later.

2.
Keep in mind that you are not expected to loose weight all at once. You can set small goals for yourself -- like 5%. Then you would be successful and ready for the next goal.

3.
Each week or two, add one good habit -- like eating vegetables. When you are ready, add the next good habit.

You can be kind to yourself. The more you love yourself, the more likely you are to be successful.

Dear Waves,

Yes, your body is going through adjustments now. Instead of thinking about your beautiful clothes (I'd love to see those leather pants!), focus on each moment at a time. Keep doing great.

You are more than half way to Feb 17. You have 5 more weeks.
Keep focusing on that (for me it is too hard to have many goals at the same time.

Thank you a lot for that Mari :hugh:

You are so right... Too many goals at a same time can be very difficult and stressful... One at a time sounds good to me !!

Ugh... Tomorrow is the day when I check my weight... I don't feel like I have lost any

Dear Majo,
We each do what we can. That's pretty much the best we can do much of the time. Do what we can. Sometimes we do more when things are going well. Sometimes we do less.
I hope that you have a good day today.

Nothing again !!! Same weight...

Just one thing... my cycle is supposed to arrive the 17th or something (if the meds for the ovaries are working... ) So, Im confused... when are we supposed to "gain" some weight ??? Is it before the cycle ? during or after ?? argh...

My hope is that after my cycle is over, I will see I lost at least 2 kilos !?

Default Hi blue mojo

My family situation is critical. I must take my family to court. I was to go to the court house yesterday, but my doctor said no. My BP was 200/100 and he gave meds at the office. I am supposed to be in bed, until I stabalize. I had some problems with my heart it was doing something odd. If this does not resolve by tues, heart test and monitors. Damn I am only 59 and in good shape with no fat, I am discusted with myself and mad at my body again. Can you get word out to my friends here, waves, bizi, don, mari, that I am off line for a bit. I have to chill out for awhile so I will not be back here for awhile. I do have my own kinda thread, maybe another could be started. I will be back in a week or so. Until then I will miss of you. I do care about those that are on this site. God bless to all. ginnie
