thanks about the mention about fat...i hardly have any in my diet now and i wonder if that explains my constipation issues. love bobby |
well I ate alot of fat tonights dinner.
Chicken breast with cream of chicken soup and pesto in olive oil covered with swiss cheese and brocolli and as a side dish:..... FENNEL! I sauteed that in olive oil added some fresh ground black pepper and it was good! crunchy and subtle flavor. nice hubby liked it too. 1000 calorie dinner oh well ..only 31 carbs!.:o bizi |
lol... Bizi you sauteed fennel WITHOUT steaming/cooking it first?? :D haha... if i did that my dad would throw it at me... you must have had some tender ones.... see, it can be very fibrous (as in the long nasty strings that are hard to cut through and also get in your teeth). we cook it before, then sautee it... that way, it is tender, strings and all.
but hey, if you enjoyed it "crunchy", more power to you :):):) (you also lose less nutrients the less it's cooked), although with steaming you don't much. ;) anyway that sounds like a yummy dinner... watch those sat fats though! :eek: ~ waves ~ |
It was the female kind big bulbous, sauteed them about 15 minutes on medium heat, some of them carmelized, hubby liked those the best.

Of course I keep track of all of us on this thread. I am a bit concerned that the problem you have, isn't being corrected by normal, food changes and cleansings. Have your had that part of your body examined? I would seek a lower GI guy and go ahead and just be checked out. This is only a suggestion of course...I care about you Bizi. ginnie

Sorry your having this problem.
I personally would like to have you and my son Danny change places. His ulceratis colitis is acting up. And he is having lots of problems with this area. And is finally made a appt tomorrow to go to the doctor. Guess its a new one, since his isn't available. Donna:grouphug::hug: |
I think I have done serious damage to my intestinal track using the peri colace for so long. thank you mari for your links. I am going to have to rethink my whole diet.

I just bought and drank a bottle of mag citrate....and some citracel powder fiber that you mix with water. am restarting my flax seed oil capsules and fish oil gel capsule. sorry that I have hijacked the diet thread for this topic. I will start another thread if you guys want me to.
