thanks for asking. mostly feeling really spent. i have been navigating migraines as well as this virus. keeping up with the pills of each has been a challenge too. hopefully today will be the last day for the migraines, tomorrow at latest. as for the virus, i think i started the echinacea just in time so it didn't hit bad.

i have been thinking about you. how are you doing?

Hi Mari

I so can relate to the post about court rooms. I was supeoned one time, both for the processution, and the defence. That was enough to go through for a life time. I also think it sad, that you told the truth that cops lie, and they dismissed you. Everything you said was true. ginnie

Ginnie,
It's so much better to stay out of court house. How did you get suppeoned for both sides?

The prosecutor had to dismiss me because the whole case rested on the words of a cop.
I helped the defense lawyer by saying what I said in front of the entire jury pool of 45 people. I did my part but I was frightened that I could be punished for saying my feelings so clearly.

Hi mari/court issues

It was a really bad situation. I was 23 with two young ones. I was an Avon Lady and I over heard some things. Not good things at all. Even now at 60 yrs old. I can't talk about it. I burried this deep. Best to leave it alone. Hope you understand. ginnie

Dear Ginnie,

I totally understand. I am sending hugs

Dear Bobby,

This sounds like a good group of people. They have in common the shared experience of depression so do not need to talk about it. There is a certain unspoken intimacy. Do you feel comfortable with them?

What other things do members of the group talk about? Current events? Neighbors and family? The food?

Are you still taking classes over the phone?

i was on the mend, and then two days on the lower dose of echinacea and whammo... i couldn't tell if i would have had a temp, because of all the ibuprofen for the migraines. anyway, i am still fighting this stupd virus thing, back on higher dose of echinacea till after my stress test () tomorrow. then who cares i can just get sick or whatever and get it over with... not really. i have to make dental decisions before my temp filling falls out. wahhhhh. :Bawling:

how about you? has your sinus got any better? do you have a temp/how high? headaches? sore throat/cough? plaques on throat? wondering if you should see the doc... i know not fun for you. but what if you need antibiotics after all this time?

it's ok about the colonoscopy. if need be i am sure your attendant physician will advise you. meantime is it ok for me to ask if you are seeing improvement with the med your doc gave you (Miralax?), the modifications to the diet, steel cut oats etc?

i am so glad you have found a group of people you can hang out with for a while.

sending hugs :hug::hug::hug:

i am still taking classes over the phone and signed up for more with the same teacher. he is really sweet and tries so hard.
i feel comfortable at my table. i just found out that one of the fellows is going to Haiti for three months. he was born there. he is one of the only ones who doesn't suffer from depression. i will miss him. he is funny. he has had all sort of health issues which he has overcome.
we don't talk that much at the table. we all agree that the food is surprising good and the portions are great. one fellow and i talk about current affairs.
he watches the news like me. another fellow and i tend to talk about personal things when we talk. he is the one with the quick temper. another one who suffers from very bad depression just reads the paper but has the sweetest smile.

too bad about the stress test. i wrote that i only lasted for less than two minutes and still passed it. I am so sorry you are still feeling awful. I don't know how long viruses last but i guess it depends on the virus.
i hate going to the doctor. I still don't know if mine was a cold or sinus but i think it was sinus. my nose is running but not much now. that is right now my only symptom.
all doctors here seem to want you to have a colonscopy when you reach a certain age. yuck. i hope i will get the courage last time it was pure terror to call the doctor again to get an appointment. I am not having the oatmeal everyday but i really love it. at night i have been eating mostly greens. i am having trouble getting myself to drink chicken soup which i have.
the miralax seems to be working.. I can't get rid of this depression.
