It hurts to hear how unhappy your child hood was, I am sorry.
When we were at the fair last year...they were selling fried butter no joke. so there are much worse things to eat than chinese food.

Bizi,

I wondered what was in the friend butter balls. Your post motivated me to look it up. This is from a Paula Deen site:

Quote:

2 ounces cream cheese
Salt and pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Peanut oil, for frying

I am not sure what the point of the butter balls is. Maybe, despite the ingredient list, they taste good..

Hi bobby

Hi Bobby, I do have peridontal disease. Have to have all teeth deep root cleaned, a bridge, and some treatment for the pockets in several teeth. the cost is over 3 grand. this doctor gave me a miracle, as she knows about all the severe problems I have with my health. I only am paying for materials for the nesbit. This give came unbidden, with an open heart from her and her staff. she knows I am on medicare/medicaid and donated this work for the wellbeing of my body. She is a christian, and is doing something for me I have never had before, she gave me mercy. I consider this a miracle as I could not afford the deep root cleaning, the anethetics, or the bridge. She wants to help me keep my teeth, as chewing is difficult, and I have trouble swallowing. I am still waiting for a biopsy of my throat. I have no idea how to thank this Dr. I am in a state of shock and awe myself. My son has been working weekends a 60 hour week to help me cover the cost of extractions, maybe now he won't have to work so hard to help me. He was working the OT to pay for all the work I have had done so far. As you know medicare/medicaid does not give you extra for anything. This miracle, is something to spred around, as it shows there are still some good souls on the earth who want to do right by others. Much like we find here on NT Bobby, I told her about this site too, and that I would tell you all what happened. Mercy is alive and well.

Yes anna maria is beautiful. I live in a home that was put in trust for me. A nine hundred sq feet of a little beach house. I am blessed in one way and cused in another. I invested all my money also, with my mothers money to pay for it. It is in trust to protect me from the state taking it away due to my medical conditions. I was not allowed to keep the money in the trust at all before I got help. Citizens insurance will not cover this home anymore. they dropped thousands from their policy as I am in a flood plain. Even if I could afford it, the insurance costs are so high now that even the well to do are moving. I need to move, and have a lawyer to help me out of the trust.
Even with insurance there is not guarantee citizens would be able to pay out in the event we had a storm. a barrier island can be very very dangerous in these storms. In 04 we evacuated three times. That is a pain in the bottom to do. Please pray for a no storm season. I love this place but being a sitting duck is not part of the fun. I didn't know the risk when my mother and me moved here. I took care of her until her death, and stayed on after. I have been here since 95 and every day it is a blessing. The cat is out of the bag, the tourists have now found us. it is becoming a zoo, not like what it was when I moved here, to sleepy little towns. have a good day bobby, and I hope you believe in miracles, and once in awhile they do happen. ginnie

LOL! yeah, i was wondering that myself!! i think the butterless ones must have been butterballs with substitute butter (more creamcheese) hehe. it's the same fat as in butter... comes from milk. so those probably taste buttery all the same.

those first ones should perhaps be called, "i can't believe it's not butter" balls. :D

Glad I'm not in the mood for that kind of thing. I am still working
on losing weight.

Many things are improved by frying them. I am not sure how frying butter works. It is already almost a perfect food :D

ROFL :D indeed. TWO sticks of butter! man!

your butterless butterballs nonetheless cleared up a mystery for me though, because in her original post, Bizi said they were selling "fried butter" (not fried butter balls) at the fair and i was like.... ??????????????
:Scratch-Head:

ok hows about we break this off now kids and get back to our regularly scheduled programming? Bobby is struggling with weight maintenance/loss. i don't know if she wants to hear about butterballs! :o

Bobby, are you secretly trying these recipes perchance? i hope we have not been a bad influence on you... sigh. ((((hugs)))) love ~ waves ~
