I put a call into my tdoc yesterday...I need to see her...before my benefits run out. I could see her multiple times before march.
I really need to get down to the bottom of all of this drinking.

Got up early for me when hubby's alarm went off at 7:15 (I am not a morning person).
Went out of town for my foot care client and back for an early lunch at 11am. Had wild caught salmon and steamed kale and potato soup, I get the salmon rare it was very good. Saw 2 more clients( I give pedicures to the elderly in their homes) one client did not need hers done so I got done early!
So then the plan for the rest of the day was to go to the shoe store and pick out new walking shoes, hubby bought me a gift certificate which I had to run home to pick that up. So I left a note on the stove for hubby that I was to pick out shoes then go to the gym to walk on the tred mill and to be AF for today This was also day one of mindful eating.
So it took longer to find the right shoe then we had to order another color because I was not going to wear pepto bismol pink shoes, i ordered the purple ones. With 2 new pair of socks cost was $200!
OUCH!!!!!
You get what you pay for. I walked on the tred mill for 5 minutes while there to test the new shoes, they felt great.
called home it was now 5;15pm and was going to tell hubby that I was going to the gym but he said lets go eat steak! Texas road house is our favorite place. So I blew off the gym.
Came home and changed into something more appropriate. It was cold windy and spitting rain, miserable. I am a whimp when it comes to cold even though I was raised in northern Indiana I still don't like the mild winters here in louisiana.
After a 10 minute wait and munching on a handful of peanuts, we were seated.
Oh those rolls they were perfect not too brown if you know what I mean, I resisted.
Thought about ordering a margarita but ordered water instead, hubby as well.
Ordered a ceasar salad minus the croutons and steamed brocolli and steak burger with cheese and mushrooms and onions. They call it "road kill" It was very good.
I would normally order their baby back ribs which is the most fattening thing on the menu.
Drank a full glass of water and was full and very satisfied. WE had a very sweet server.
After dinner I said it would be great to have a drambui (think sweet Scottish liquor that is 80 proof) drink to warm me up. He said we could stop by the store and pick some up. I said no thank you so he said why don't I just go buy you some that you can have if you want it. I said that would be cruel, I love the stuff!
WE came home happy.
After dinner came home and I glanced at this mornings paper to see if any of my clients passed away. yes there were 2. one I did not expect an old client and the other I did expect. I saw her this past monday, Margaret was on hospice by that time. She died on tuesday.
I loved her so it was sad to say good bye. Both of the viewings were for tonight at the same funeral home until 8pm.
I had to go.
I saw her son who took such good care of margaret. They are a loving family.
She made me margaritas the first time that I met her and her 90 year old sister.
She used limeaid. They were delicious.
They told me that she was always cooking and taking care of others. Her home is where family members visiting from out of town, wanted to be around her. She was such a good hearted soul.
I will miss her.
I will still have her sister's feet to attend to as well as her sister in law so I will get to talk to them about her.
any way....
Returned a red box dvd and came home.
Yummy food all day, low carbs that is what I am shooting for.
Alcohol Free!!!!!
5 minutes of tred mill. Well I guess that is better than nothing.
now on this computer
It is 9:30 and I think I will try to do alittle paperwork before going to bed. I am working again tomorrow. Still playing catch up after the holidays.
Thank you for reading my post.

Love to read you Bizi. It's like having a sister that chated that day. Your feet wil love you caring so much for yours and others!
Have a great Sunday.

Bizi, I don't know if it will help, but my sis that is on home hospice will need a liver transplant. She was a nightly drinker to relax, chill. I'm not sure how much she really drank, I didn't see her drunk, just drinking. But she is only 54. It's scary.

Since she had the last failure and is being managed by meds, no processed foods and hospice, she is still here. She never says it, but with one grandchild here and another one in the works, she wants more time.

It's none of my business how much you drink. Just concerned if you think it's a problem, I don't want you I'll like her.
Love ya,
Di
