kay good for you for calling and being persistent.
This is a long process and you have shown great patience in this imperfect system. I am hoping that you get your driving license as soon as possible. ((((((hugs)))))) bizi |
This is good news for a change…
My agent spoke to someone else and I guess they did start the process on Wednesday after all and my sr-22 insurance is already active. They already sent the certificate to the NH DMV so I'm just waiting for my clearance letter. Because of all the phone calls I've made, I know that the NH DMV sends the clearance letters out as soon as they get proof of the sr-22 insurance. I could get it any day now. The rest of my paperwork is in order so I can hit the DMV to get my license back as soon as I get the clearance letter. Hopefully when I get there, they don't tell me I have to come back in 24 hours because they have to update the system  I'm not in danger of insurance cancellation either. An agent with my insurance carrier will keep an eye on things to make sure the transition between the two policies goes smoothly. So this ****ing horrible confusing mess is looking like it will be over soon :):):):):) I'll be stalking the mailman again ;) |
yeah!!!!!

That is great progress, Kay. :):):)

I got a ****ing letter from the MA DMV today telling me that effective May 7th my license is suspended/revoked for an additional year…. ****ers!!!
I called a lawyer who can probably fix this for me without any hassle, but he wants a $750 retainer. My husband is far from on board… and at this point doesn't care if I ever get my license back. He wants to drive the car off a cliff. I doubt I can fix this myself, but I'm going to try… I called the NH DMV and I was "restored" yesterday. They sent my clearance letter out yesterday or this morning. When I get it, I'll take the expensive cab ride to the DMV and wait three hours or so to find out exactly what I need to do to rectify the situation if I can. So again I go from bad to worse and this is the worst case scenario yet. I'm about ready to give up. |
you can't believe how sorry i am...it is nauseating...where there is a will there is a way....you poor thing. my class today said everything works out for the best. it made my stomach ache go away for a few minutes. i don't know if it would work for you.
hugs bobby |
oh noo!!!!!
F*** I am so sorry.... bizi |
I took all 3mg I'm allowed a day yesterday. I can't remember the last time I did that. I almost want this to be over with as much as I want to get my license back at this point. This is the never ending (horror) story. On top of everything else, I have to deal with my husband losing his temper every time something goes wrong. He's being a ****ing *** hole. He is the exact opposite of supportive.
I called the MA DMV 100X and kept getting the same message while I was on hold: press 1 to get a call back later or press 2 to end this call. Whenever I pressed #1 it said the callback would be on Thursday?!That makes absolutely no sense to me!!! I kept calling and got through to a rep around 4:30. She said the suspension was triggered in the system because they haven't seen my sr-22 insurance… somehow I doubt this situation will be that easy to clear up… I have a copy of my sr-22 certificate and the letter my insurance carrier sent to the NH DMV stating I've had coverage since 4/27. This should be enough, but I don't know what to expect because the (incompetent) hearings officer said I needed a "binder," but my insurance company said they only issue those in certain situations, this isn't one of them, and they've never heard of anyone needing that for this process. The DMV also has access to my insurance coverage in their system. If things go badly with the first hearings officer I see, I will ask to speak with another one. I think being pushy is appropriate at this point. I hope can get to the MA DMV by Friday- before that 1 year suspension goes into effect on 5/7. I think that will make things a lot easier. Please cross your fingers for me… I called the NH DMV. They sent my clearance letter out either Monday or yesterday morning. When I requested the 30 day letter I got it fast, and I hope that's the case here. Best case scenario: I find it in my mailbox today or tomorrow so I can be at the DMV with all my paperwork before it opens Thursday or Friday morning. I'm going to walk to the plaza by my house today even though it's a pretty long walk for me and the weather isn't very inviting. I want to hit the ATM so I have the $500 on hand for my visit to the DMV (in case they let me get my license back) so I don't have to worry about stopping on the way over. I also need cigarettes and a couple of things at the supermarket. The exercise will also do me good. And it's a distraction. The mail doesn't come until 2:30 and I need to keep my mind occupied on other things |
Sending you some good thoughts of protection today. Let no harm come to you as you venture on your walk.....be safe.
fall down 7 times get up 8. bizi (((((HUGS))))) |
