How long are you into this relapse, yb?

I have been paralyzed; numb in just the face/mouth/tongue; numb from head to toe; numb just on the right side; and numb just in the lower 2/3. Every time, no matter how much (or little) numbness I had, I was scared.

A couple of times I was sure I just wasn't going to come out of it "this time", cause it didn't follow the same pattern. Normally, it takes 10 - 12 weeks to escalate (6 weeks) and recover (6 weeks). . . BUT then sometimes, within a few weeks of completing that recovery, it starts all over again somewhere else for another 10 - 12 weeks.

I have learned to rest, pace myself, treat fever and infections . . . and WAIT for that 12 weeks to be over to guage how much I will recover. I have been left with very little permanent damage each time, and I hope you have the same luck.

Cherie
