Fish oil and aspirin are anti-inflammatory. If there is an inflammatory aspect to your pain, the aspirin will work.
Some posters here report aspirin helps them. Fish oil helps with nerve repair of the myelin insulation that may be damaged. It also thins the blood a bit and helps circulation. You have to be careful with aspirin though, careful to not damage your stomach and small intestine.
