I talked with a friend about this anomolie and she told me to check, as I went to the lest cost to refill...that they may be being manufactured in China... Well if that poison is in Toy paint, and in dog food and baby formula, who is to say it is not a part of the pill inert filler???? But, they are so real, the theme sometimes even repeats. An unsteady elevator or floors, restrooms always being utilized and filthy. Planes that I am waiting for a flight, boarding a flight, just boarded a flight. I see my deceased dd and am awake enough to toal recall. In the dream I want to see her more and spend more time with her. The other night I had one we were at our favorite salon. But I really should see where these pills are made as something is up. I am not having a breakdown, shrien assures me, lol. I have used same med but in different color or form before no problem. They are not even the Lexapro, weird but I would like them to stop.... di

I have a lot more nightmares than I used to. It appears they are caused by being uncomfortable when I sleep. The RSD mostly shuts down when asleep for me so nightmares aren't a big problem. Every morning almost, shortly before I get up I have what I think of as an RSD nightmare but it's really part of the post traumatic stress syndrome probably. I'm always at a job I can't do because of my condition but there's no real expectation that I do it. I knock myself out anyway in most of these dreams. They aren't true nightmares since they aren't really frightening. They are terrible dreams.

I found these links relating the limbic system (which is affected in RSD patients) and dreaming. I thought I would pass it along. I find this very intriguing. I think this was a great question and hopefully understanding the connection will ease everyone's mind about their dream patterns. http://neuro.psychiatryonline.org/cg.../full/14/3/283 http://brainmind.com/LimbicOverview.html |

hallucinations and nightmares are side effects known to happen with zanaflex. I had to stop taking it because I was seeing things during the daytime when taking it.
Might have something to do with the zanaflex? I found the best of the muscle relaxers for me is baclofen. I take more at night to help with sleep. Still, I only get 3-4 hours a day... kind of got used to it after all these years. |

i have been on zanaflex for 7 yrs i think that the nightmares are due to rsd being out of control this last couple of months since i had to have my appendix out in december 08 at least this is what i think -carrie |

No horrible nightmares for me, at least that I remember, just horrible sleep! I get a total of maybe 6 hours of very interupted sleep. I wake up from shoulder, arm or hand pain every 1-2 hours or so.

I agree sleep is so hard for me too between the pain and also the anxiety I experience. Finding a sleep med for me that works is like finding a good pain relief med for me near to impossible. So frustrating
